With a direct reference to our Head of Solution Architecture, you will become a part of our Solution Architect team consisting of 10 dedicated colleagues. Together we are responsible for developing IT architecture suited for our customers’ needs. We strive to set the technical agenda in Kamstrup, why we work with some of the newest technologies. Therefore, we are working towards a microservice based application landscape, and you will play a key role in this transformation. Kamstrup has been working with smart metering and IoT for several years, and most of what we develop is centered around being an expert in this area.
A job with focus on architecture and new technologies
As a Solution Architect you will have the responsibility for designing a coherent system from the meter to the customer facing interfaces. You will get the opportunity to focus on different areas in the system, and become an expert in e.g. streaming technologies, transmission of data, API design, data platform and security. In addition, you will be designing and developing new customer solutions where you will be involved in the full design life cycle from idea to the final adaptation.

- Collaborate with Product Management teams in the creation and implementation of new products and solutions
- Build and maintain the solution and reference architecture together with the other Architects
- Understand how we can gain from the use of standardization e.g. CIM and DLMS
- Drive necessary changes in Kamstrup’s architecture to ensure that it always meets the needs of our business areas
- Lead the adoption of new technologies in our software
Personality matters
We are looking for a talented and ambitious Solution Architect who is ready to take the next step in your career. There are many entry points to this position, but we imagine that you have:
- A professional background in Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Software Developer
- Expertise within transforming insights in software development and bridge the business strategy with our architecture
