About the programme
The Demant Graduate Programme offers you a unique opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills. Each year, we hire between 5-10 graduates for different business areas. We will lead you through a two-year journey starting in September 2022. Depending on the business area, you will have 3-4 different rotations each lasting for 6-8 months. This will provide you with a broad understanding of our business and a strong network of people across functions.
You will plan your rotations together with your Host Manager to enhance your development in the best possible way. The programme also adapts to the needs of the business. Therefore, the projects and tasks vary from rotation to rotation. As we are a global company, many of our graduates can also go abroad for one of their rotations.

You will be given real tasks and responsibilities with high exposure from day one. We believe this is the best way to kick-start your career. After successfully completing the programme, you will continue your career in Demant in a permanent position.
We have a flat organization, which helps you to get a holistic overview of our business. To easier find your way around, former graduates will partner up with you to support you. We furthermore offer you training sessions such as project and stakeholder management skills. We also offer a mentoring scheme, which will focus on your personal development. Besides that, you will join a fantastic network with the other graduates, whereby everybody grows together already after the first days.
Your business area: Legal
As Legal Graduate, you will become part of the Global Legal & Compliance function consisting of 35 highly skilled and motivated lawyers around the world. The Legal team in Denmark supports the top management, as well as all Demant’s brands, including Oticon, Audika, Philips and EPOS.
The hierarchy is flat, and you will be close to the decision-making processes in Demant where you are working closely together with the business.
We have legal colleagues at sites in US, Canada, Australia, and Poland and we imagine that you will have a 6 month stay at one of these sites abroad.
You can look forward to working on various areas such as risk management, compliance, data privacy. The biggest area, however, will be legal in a broader sense.
When carrying out your tasks, you will work with colleagues in Finance, Operations, R&D, Marketing, subsidiaries around the world allowing you to obtain an in-depth understanding of Demant’s business.
Your profile
You are about to graduate, or have graduated no more than two years ago, with a relevant degree as cand.jur., cand.merc.jur. or equivalent. You are a top performer with excellent achievements in either your studies, through your work experience or extracurricular activities. You have a sense for commercial issues and the ability to balance the need for sound business advice with the need for maintaining a high standard of legal advice.
Furthermore, it will be an advantage, if you have gained international experience through a semester or internship abroad or similar. And last, you English is excellent, as the corporate language of the Demant Group is English.
As a person, we believe that you are a team player with a high drive and passion for what you do. You are curious, hardworking, and just as important, you are humble and fun to work with. You are both strategic and pragmatic and go for the ambitious goal.

Deadline for applications is 9th of January 2022
We will then choose applicants for video interviews, which take place from 17th – 21st January 2022. After that, we choose the final candidates for our assessment center, which takes place on Wednesday, 26th of January 2022 at our headquarters in Smørum. Personal interviews with the very last candidates take place from 31st of January – 4th of February 2022.
