About the programme
The Demant Graduate Programme offers you a unique opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills. Each year, we hire between 5-10 graduates for different business areas. We will lead you through a two-year journey starting in September 2022. Depending on the business area, you will have 3-4 different rotations each lasting for 6-8 months. This will provide you with a broad understanding of our business and a strong network of people across functions.

You will plan your rotations together with your Host Manager to enhance your development in the best possible way. The programme also adapts to the needs of the business. Therefore, the projects and tasks vary from rotation to rotation. As we are a global company, many of our graduates can also go abroad for one of their rotations.

We have a flat organization, which helps you to get a holistic overview of our business. To easier find your way around, former graduates will partner up with you to support you. We furthermore offer you training sessions such as project and stakeholder management skills. We also offer a mentoring scheme, which will focus on your personal development. Besides that, you will join a fantastic network with the other graduates, whereby everybody grows together already after the first days.

Your business area: Operations
During your time in Global Operations, you will explore the company and develop your personal and professional skills through 4 job rotations of 6 months each. You will take on projects that involve stays outside of Denmark. Depending on the project, the duration of the stays can be anywhere from a few days to a whole rotation. Our activities In Global Operations range from planning, sourcing, through to NPI, manufacturing, distribution and aftersales. Our footprint spans across the globe - from Australia to Poland, Denmark, US and Mexico just to mention a few key Operations geographies.

Opportunities are plentiful and so are the challenges. You will have the chance to join activities that can take you from working in the interface between R&D and Operations, to automation, manufacturing systems and infrastructure development and procurement of electronic components. You will work closely with the Global Operations leadership team, where you will take part in the day-to-day management.

Irrespective of the tasks, one thing is certain: You will face a steep learning curve with a high degree of responsibility from day one. In our flat organization, you will train your analytical, strategic, and innovative skills, you will be exposed to a huge range of projects, you will be expected to take ownership for your decisions and to challenge status quo.

Your profile
You are about to graduate, or have graduated no more than two years ago, with a relevant master’s degree in relevant technical M.Sc. within engineering, e.g. production and manufacturing or similar. We are looking for a candidate that can successfully combine technical and business acumen. Has one foot solidly planted in traditional supply-chain disciplines and another in strong technical or IT area. You are a top performer with excellent achievements in either your studies, through your work experience or extracurricular activities. You have furthermore gained international experience through a semester or internship abroad or similar. And last, you are fluent in English.

As a person, we believe that you are a team player with a high drive and passion for what you do. You are curious, hardworking, and just as important, you are humble and fun to work with. You are both strategic and pragmatic and go for the ambitious goal.

Deadline for applications is 9th of January 2022
We will then choose applicants for video interviews, which take place from 17th – 21st January 2022. After that, we choose the final candidates for our assessment center, which takes place on Wednesday, 26th of January 2022 at our headquarters in Smørum. Personal interviews with the very last candidates take place from 31st of January – 4th of February 2022.
