What we offer

You will report to the Head of Intermodal Products, and be responsible for delivering the ECO product vision and P&L. Aligned with the Maersk Integrator Strategy, you will have full autonomy to improve and create a robust ECO product value proposition to address our customers’ pain points in collaboration with colleagues from Decarbonization, Customer Experience, Platforms/Tech and the frontline.

Key responsibilities

Product strategy and value proposition

  • Define the global product strategy in collaboration with relevant functions as well as regions/areas, with the objective of making the product an integral offering of overall Maersk’s strategy

  • Responsible for identifying the holistic value proposition (along with relevant functions) for customers based on their needs and pain points, and Maersk’s growth strategy and environment; transforming those value propositions into profitable products.

  • Engage, together with Decarb Transparency & Enablement, in cross-industry efforts to set standards for emissions accounting in landside transportation


Product development and management

  • Drives product standardization and design in collaboration with internal products / processes and platforms; especially around emission calculation and in setting boundaries together with Decarb Transparency & Enablement

  • Manage product development end-to-end across all relevant functions / stakeholders (marketing & sales, decarbonisation, finance, platform and others) including scalable processes and standards

  • Responsible for ensuring platform, internal product and operational teams have a holistic understanding of the product’s value proposition in order to develop technical and operational solutions along the delivery processes and ensure the execution of the value proposition

  • Drives global product standards and guideline to the regions/areas, including product specific training

  • Responsible for continuously managing and optimizing the product post-launch to sustain relevance and differentiation to address evolving market and customers needs and improve scalability


Product performance and collaboration

  • Define key metrics to measure product performance and is responsible for the product performance in the market and set up adequate risk management to balance demand and supply during market development phases

  • Responsible for working collaboratively across the product, decarbonization, sales and platform organization, seeking out synergies and advancing on value proposition creation aligned with Maersk’s overall strategy

  • Facilitate best practices sharing across regions/areas


Required Skills and Experiences:

In this role, we are looking for someone that has

  • Passion for customers and ability to identify customer pain points and converting them into business outcomes for our customers

  • 3-5 years of product management, with focus experience in Logistics/Landside Transportation/Ocean market and products; experience in developing sustainable transport products and/or knowledge in carbon accounting or book&claim principles for decarbonised products would be a plus

  • Ability to drive change management across HQ and frontline teams to deliver product value proposition and go to market strategy

  • Strong financial and data acumen, and able to make both strategic and tactical decisions based on them

  • Strong communication skills to relay new product ideas across all levels

  • Independent, self-starter and strong stakeholder management skills
