Do you possess people management experience or is this your next step? If so, we offer a fast-track position to become team leader of our Data Science team in CMC Development & Scaling. The position
Our Data Science team consists of 5 statisticians and is an important part of the development of new products, manufacturing processes and analytical methods. We collaborate across the organisation bringing in relevant statistical methods. Some of these methods are well-established and others need to be developed. In addition, we develop automated procedures to increase the use and value of our methods. Good solutions balance business needs and quality requirements, and close collaboration with stakeholders is needed to ensure this. The position will comprise people management combined with individual contributions. As a team leader, you will be part of a leadership team of 5 people, where we share an ambition to excel through strong focus on empowerment, people development, and implementation of our newly created strategy. Your main tasks will be to: Set direction and drive professional excellence for your team.
Ensure clear and smooth communication in the team and with stakeholders.
Provide sparring and development opportunities to team members to support their career progression.
Participate in Drug development projects by delivering and presenting statistical solutions.
Be part of cross-functional digitalization initiatives.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have: A strong background in mathematical statistics as MSc or Ph.D. in statistics or engineering.
Experience in digitalization.
Leadership experience or a strong desire to embark on your leadership journey.
Preferably you have at least 5 years of experience from a data science position in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with a proven track record.
Fluent in oral and written English
