Global Product Owner within Digital Health Product Ownership
Location: SøborgAre you passionate about working at the forefront of new and innovative solutions by setting and planning the strategic direction for digital solutions? Are you excited about making an impact and improving health outcomes of people living with chronic diseases?
Then maybe you are our next global product owner (PO) for one of our coming Digital Health solutions!Behind the title
As our new Digital Health PO, you will be responsible for driving a new initiative within our diabetes portfolio reporting to our Global Director, Digital Health Product Ownership.
You will be working in an agile and high-speed environment within a cross-functional setup of developers, business owners, IT architects, RA, UX, etc. including external partners.
It’s an area, where we shape solutions and do several things for the first time while continuously learning.
Given that you will be working in an area which is still taking shape, there will be a lot of unknowns.
It is truly an exciting cross-functional job, and your work will cover a broad spectrum of areas ranging from strategic commercial deliverables, researching with our in-house anthropologists / UX researchers, managing regulatory issues, scoping, and planning, IT platform decisions, and front-end UX/UI choices. One of the key tasks is to project manage global stakeholders both internally and externally for alignment. This includes a wide area of functions from Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, IT, external partners, and vendors. Thus, to manage and get buy-in from multiple, cross-organisational stakeholders, this role requires you to be the true owner and anchor of the software solution.
Core responsibilities
• Set the strategic product direction and -vision for the development of a new software solution, potentially with a series on follow-on solutions.
• Scope the high-level acceptance criteria for the solution and make critical decisions regarding several frontend solutions, user tests and algorithms.
• Approve project deliverables to ensure that the solution provides value to both the end users, partners, and Novo Nordisk.
• Optimize agile ways of working by prioritizing the work to ensure we deliver timely and according to plan without compromising on quality.
• Pilot and learn for market launch readiness.
• Cross-functional and high complexity product-, project- and stakeholder management.
Do you have what it takes?
We don’t have any formal requirements for educational background, if you are passionate about Digital Health, and you are a digital product native, you should apply. However, most candidates have a master’s degree within IT, Business Development, Commercial, or equivalent work experience.
At the same time, we will look for people who have
• A passion for building and scaling digital products from problem discovery to realised benefits.
• An agile user-centric mindset & strong digital toolbox to draw upon.
• Experience working with MedTech (DTx/SaMD), or another regulated field is an advantage.
• Experience from working with complex algorithms and APIs connected devices or IoT is an advantage.
On a personal level
• You are comfortable working in a new and changing environment with a lot of unknowns – inspect and adapt!
• You get energized from solving complex challenges and navigating a cross-functional stakeholder landscape to ensure we create high-impact solutions.
Lastly, you need strong communication skills including the ability to communicate complex subjects in an easy and understandable way - and excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
The team is waiting for you!
In your role, you will report to Global Director, Digital Health Product Ownership and join the fast-growing team of product owners within the area ‘Digital Health’. We strive to develop and plan for commercialisation of digital health software solutions or SaMD solutions to ensure that patients maximise the therapeutic benefits from Novo Nordisk products to ultimately improve health outcomes.
