Do you have a lean background either from studies or professional experience and a natural passion for both continuous improvements and systematic problem solving? Then apply now as you might be the Lean Professional we are looking for to join our Business Support team in Sourcing Operations, Novo Nordisk. The position As Lean Professional you will drive and push the lean agenda in Sourcing Operations (SoOp) to support and improve our business. Your main responsibilities include to: Coach the leaders across the organization in lean leadership. For example improving their performance boards Support line of business in identifying their bottlenecks and improve them through continuous improvement or concrete process improvements Support line of business in systematic problem solving and visualizing their value streams Act as coach and teacher in our central lean academy teaching lean principles to employees across our organization As Sourcing Operations has increased the focus on digitalization, you will collaborate closely with our digital team integrating lean and digitalization as levers for optimization of our business. Qualifications To succeed in this position, you must: Hold at least a bachelor’s degree within Engineering, Supply Chain Management, business, or any other relevant field Possess a background in lean, either obtained within your studies or from previous work experience focusing on lean improvements Enjoy or have a keen interest in coaching Understand Danish at a conversational level and be fluent in English, both written and spoken We are considering any level of experience for this position, so whether you are a newly graduate or a seasoned lean professional, we want to hear from you. As a person, you have excellent communication, facilitation, and visualization skills. You are passionate about lean and you thrive in environment where you would have to drive the Lean mindset at different level: from shopfloor to senior leadership. Being structured comes naturally to you and you thrive in an everchanging dynamic environment. About the department The Business Support department is a unit within Sourcing Operations (SoOp). Sourcing Operations is responsible for the inbound supply chain of direct spend materials in Novo Nordisk. The Business Support department is primarily responsible for driving and executing on SoOp key strategic projects, improving our processes and bottlenecks and coaching lean to employees and managers. We are passionate about delivering value to the organization and take pride in being a highly skilled and dedicated organization truly motivated by making a difference to the business. Business Support is located in Bagsværd, but you will be expected to work in close collaboration with colleagues from the shopfloor based in Hillerød.
