The Position You will be responsible for one of two teams developing analytical method within Process Analytical Technologies (PAT), right now focusing on NIR both in-line and at-line. The two PAT teams, “PAT Development” and “PAT Implementation” are responsible for respectively scouting and developing of new PAT methods in early phase product development, and validation and implementation of the methods in full scale production. Furthermore, the teams are supported by project managers to ensure a successful introduction of PAT in the merge between analytical development and process development. The main tasks will be to:
  • Provide leadership and ensure high performance is met.

  • Make sure the team meets development & internal project timelines as well as quality and organisational goals.

  • Provide effective resource allocation in your team.

  • Spur continuous development of the team members through coaching and dialogue.

  • You will be a member of the Product Development & Launch Leadership team and you will participate in cross-organisational projects and collaborations. Moreover, you will lead the way and be a role model in a LEAN culture where openness, honesty and focus on continuous improvements are natural parts of your personality. Qualifications To succeed in this role you:
  • Hold a Bachelor, Master or equivalent degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant scientific discipline.

  • Have strong leadership skills, and ability to take the lead and focus on deliverables.

  • Preferably have 5 years people management experience, but we will also consider less experience if there is a match in personality.

  • Communicate fluently in English and min. basic command of Danish.

  • You contribute positively to our department and enjoy working with people from different professional backgrounds. You are eager to see things move forward in a dynamic environment and you are a strong communicator. You work in a structured manner with a non-compromised focus on quality and deliverables. You have a can-do mind-set and focus on opportunities rather than limitations. You can look beyond your own team, but you need to think cross functionally and have a clear eye and understanding of what is best for both our employees and our business. The position requires engagement and ability to find solutions in challenging situations. About the Department Product Development & Launch employs approx. 100 highly skilled and motivated employees, and we are still growing. Today we are organized in 6 teams. The department holds the full responsibility of developing Oral Drug Product going into phase 3 clinical trials until after submission and launch. Our responsibility cowers Product and Process development, incl. Process Analytical Technology as a new strategic focus. The department was established less than 6 months ago, and we are therefore in an ongoing process of setting up and impacting working procedures.
