The position
As Planning Partner, you are a crucial part in building and maintaining a strong long-term planning process (3-to-10-year horizon) in Supply Chain. Your work is a key element to support the quarterly strategy process from a planning, data & analytical standpoint and the output will be used directly to drive strategic platform decisions in Novo Nordisk.

You are a passionate professional with an academic degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or similar. You take pride in working with high integrity and a mindset that drives positive changes through expertise, insights, curiosity, and a sense for detail. You are good at thinking holistically and connecting the dots to identify underlying issues and patterns in complex situations and can pinpoint the crucial elements or pitfalls in the planning process.
You thrive working independently with data and in planning systems to deliver results through your personal expertise, but also enjoy teamwork and collaboration with stakeholders to propose practical solutions and achieve the required results. In addition, you likely have the following achievements:
Furthermore, you are fluent in spoken and written English.

The position
As Planning Partner, you are a crucial part in building and maintaining a strong long-term planning process (3-to-10-year horizon) in Supply Chain. Your work is a key element to support the quarterly strategy process from a planning, data & analytical standpoint and the output will be used directly to drive strategic platform decisions in Novo Nordisk.
You are responsible for:
- Supporting your planning partner colleague in defining and developing a robust long-term planning process in close collaboration with the platform owners
- Maintaining End-to-end production planning across the API (Pharmaceutical Ingredients) and Cartridge Filling and Device platforms
- Becoming a system expert and go-to person in our new planning system OMP and sharing your knowledge across Supply Chain
Qualifications
You are a passionate professional with an academic degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or similar. You take pride in working with high integrity and a mindset that drives positive changes through expertise, insights, curiosity, and a sense for detail. You are good at thinking holistically and connecting the dots to identify underlying issues and patterns in complex situations and can pinpoint the crucial elements or pitfalls in the planning process.
You thrive working independently with data and in planning systems to deliver results through your personal expertise, but also enjoy teamwork and collaboration with stakeholders to propose practical solutions and achieve the required results. In addition, you likely have the following achievements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience from operational, tactical, or long-term planning
- Super user in advanced planning systems (OMP, Kinaxis, APO, or alike)
- Accustomed with Alteryx, Tableau and PowerApps
- History of working in a large company within the life science industry
Furthermore, you are fluent in spoken and written English.
