Senior Supply Chain Partner

The position

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Setup and manage the overall raw material planning across manufacturing facilities
• Function as a sparring partner to production areas to drive improvements in the manufacturing process to meet increasing demand
• Lead the implementation of raw material optimisation projects across API and be a single point of contact between the central and local teams
• Setup and optimize warehousing capacities across the value stream
• Manage inventory planning to ensure that strategic and operational inventory targets are met
• Manage the short- and long-term raw material budget strategy for global API manufacturing

You will be a single point of contact between the central and local teams. Your insights will support senior management in their decisions, and you will be able to develop a broad network across the organisation.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Supply chain, Finance, Business management, or a related field
• Experience in stakeholder management in large organisations and you’re motivated by establishing something new where there will be many learnings
• Experience in tools like SAP or OMP and a flair for learning new systems
• Proficiency in English

It would be an advantage if you have experience in supply chain or production planning processes, preferably in the pharma industry. It would also be an advantage to have experience in managing projects involving multiple stakeholders. To thrive in this job, it would be important that you always try to understand the occurring problems and offer comprehensive global and holistic solutions.

About the department

API (Active pharmaceutical ingredients) Supply Chain Management is the central department for the API manufacturing units in Denmark and US. We are responsible for managing API Sales & Operations Planning activities and inventory management. We also provide analytical consultancy for supply chain tasks for API and stakeholders through advanced analytics and other relevant Digital Supply Chain Enhancement tools.
