The Position
In our team New Product Entry (NPE) in the department Manufacturing Development (Mdev) we have this new position as a scientist for equipment and tablet optimization. One of the main focuses for the team is bringing new products from late phase development to market. In this position you will be on top of our oral tablet equipment production in close collaboration with our colleagues. You will be responsible for the production processes and that the equipment is performing in world class. You will drive or be part of improvements and optimizations projects with main focus on the performance of the equipment. You will support challenges related to the production and analytical equipment e.g., tablet machines, in-process control equipment and automatic at-line tablet testing equipment and Process analytical technology (PAT).
You will be:
- Driving the optimization of existing production equipment
- Ready to support the production in critical cases with short notice
- Driving the continuing optimization of already approved products - Life Cycle Management (LCM)
- Involved in design and implementation of new equipment and technologies for new processes
- Using data and your analytical skills to find the best solutions
- Using your experience from other tablet productions to improve our quality, output, and cost
Qualifications
- You hold a master’s degree and/or a PhD in science within Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or a similar field.
- You have extensive and documented experience from within the field of CMC or manufacture, e.g., production, product development, equipment support, process transfer, or process validation.
- You possess good communication skills in both oral and written English and preferable also Danish.
- The job requires the ability to oversee and manage high level tasks across the organisation
About the Department
Oral Finished Products (OFP) Manufacturing Development (Mdev) employs approximately 60 highly skilled and motivated employees with the missions to bring products from late development to market production, optimize the processes and products, support the production sites, document the stability for the products and build up the documentation for authorities for new products and for marketed products.
The department consist of 3 teams: Stability, Life Cycle Management (LCM) and New Product Entry (NPE). This position is in team NPE. What we do is an important part of Novo Nordisk, and as an agile department, we solve exciting and challenging tasks every day.
