Vice President, Global Inbound Warehouse Operations for GMP raw materials . Novo Nordisk is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as the Vice President for a newly established area. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the overall strategic planning and management of the area, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will drive strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless logistics and supply chain processes to support the company's mission of improving the lives of patients worldwide. About the role The main responsibility in the role is to manage our growing global warehouse operations and ensure that we continue to provide our customers with the highest level of service. Our Global Inbound Warehouse Operations for GMP raw materials currently consists of 110 employees divided between two sites and expansion projects, and we expect to significantly add to our capacity within the next couple of years, both manning and footprint. The new Vice President will play a key role in driving the growth while ensuring efficient, standardised and timely global warehouse services. Key Responsibilities: Set the strategic direction for the area. Build future operational organisation. Establish and monitor goals for the area, tracking Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and People (Q-C-D-S-P). Proactively ensure the right level of quality and compliance through ongoing activities. Ensure a culture which strives for continuous improvements of all processes as one global warehousing network across site. Qualifications Proven track record of successful leadership in a senior warehousing role within the pharmaceutical industry with deep understanding of GxP. Strong understanding of warehousing best practices, including inventory management, distribution, and transportation. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to make data driven decisions. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organisational change. About the department
Global Inbound Warehouse Operationsis part of Sourcing Operations (SoOp), which is overall responsible for the inbound supply chain of Novo Nordisk and consist of 420 dedicated employees. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the Sourcing Operations function globally.
