The position As Compliance Partner, your role encompasses the crucial responsibility of ensuring adherence to sanctions policies related to Iran and Russia but not limited, serving as a strategic partner for initiatives involving Global Public Affairs, Finance, and Legal compliance. Your role extends to liaising with authorities, suppliers, and various stakeholders, all while maintaining business ethics, optimising work processes, and staying updated on geopolitical development that may impact Novo Nordisk. Some of your main tasks include: Ensuring adherence to sanctions policies and leading the development of the sanctions strategy, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders Conceptualizing and implementing frameworks for assessing import/export materials within the compliance network Facilitating coordination and conducting essential training and alignment workshops related to sanctions policies and import/export restrictions Supervising Business Ethics oversight within the LM organization Innovating streamlined solutions to reduce complexity, including ongoing updates to risk assessments Qualifications To be considered for this position, we believe you: Attained an academic degree in engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a comparable role, preferably within a global context Demonstrate a solid background in compliance, with a focus on sanctions spanning Western Europe and beyond Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Display proficiency in both spoken and written English Having a robust understanding of Supply Chain would be considered a significant advantage. As a person, you possess a strategic mindset coupled with a business-driven focus. Your remarkable ability to inspire sets the course for success, showcasing adept management of change. Even amidst challenges, you exhibit resilience and flourish in ambiguous environments. About the Department LM is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organisation and consists of ~800 employees. Our primary role is the establishment and operation of manufacturing sites in countries where local presence is required to obtain market access. With presence in countries like Japan, South Africa, Russia, Belarus, India, Iran, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia and Algeria, Novo Nordisk’s LM Strategy is the platform of our business where it is stated we work in compliance with EU GMP as well as local requirements.
