The position
As Senior Manager you will get the opportunity to set up the right organization and build up critical competences in the area and your team to meet business challenges/needs. This includes recruitment, onboarding, training, and establishing a high performing team. The department is established to help Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Aseptic Production (AP) succeed in the coming years with an extensive investment project portfolio, increased needs for Manufacturing- & Business Intelligence know-how and strategy along with Operational Excellence competencies, to ensure a robust, data-driven, and innovative aseptic production area. The main responsibilities of our department will include:
• Drive the operational excellence agenda in aseptic production with new technology and optimized processes
• Manage the strategic project portfolio, ensuring that projects are executed within scope, cost, resources, and time as agreed in the project plan
• Be on the forefront of technology of manufacturing and aiming at automated, error proof and efficient production processes
• Ensure successful shutdowns in the production for periodically maintenance and optimization
• Seek out new solutions and optimization options for the existing AP area and advise your management group in prioritizing of projects and initiatives to implement to ensure robust and excellent production. When projects/initiatives are approved your department is responsible for scoping and implementing these successfully You will be reporting to the Vice President of BRD AP in Gentofte & Værløse and be part of a management team with other directors. You will work closely with the Site Project Portfolio Manager and Business Support area along with IT and Line of Business.

Qualifications
You will be a great leader in our organisation because you have:
• Several years of leadership experience within project manager or operational excellence in GMP manufacturing in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or similar industry
• Strong change management skills and deep business understanding
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proven experience in working with stakeholders at all levels
• It is an advantage if you have worked in a regulated and automated production environment and have experience in one or preferably more of the following fields: automation, digitalisation, data availability, LEAN, and aseptic production
• Fully proficient in both written and spoken English On a personal level, you are proactive and have a high degree of independence, drive and direction setting. You feel empowered by the autonomy of being the one who is responsible for driving the operational excellence agenda at our BRD AP production facilities. You value close collaboration and shop floor presence. Your curiosity and collaborative mind-set enable you to identify new solutions and create engagement around implementation. About the department
Our team is part of the BRD Finished Products Gentofte and Vaarloese area that is the production site situated close to Copenhagen. Here we are app. 620 colleagues who take responsibility for transforming Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients into the finished product that patients can use all over the world. We are producing at full speed on existing lines while building and ramping up new state of the art facilities. Our complex processes require a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and include formulation, filling, freeze-drying, product inspection, assembly and pack. We bring value to patients by delivering high-quality GMP compliant products in a timely and cost-efficient manner. We drive change by working actively with LEAN and always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
