As Senior Manager, you will head up the operational unit consisting of several teams responsible for manufacturing medicine for patients living with rare diseases. Your direct reports will be several associate managers who are responsible for leading skilled workers and operators. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Develop and optimize the organization, leaders, and employees in within the unit
• Operational excellence in planning, execution and improving production
• Ensure licence to operate and that the production complies with GMP The area is on an exciting growth journey and in the position, you will report to the Director and collaborate closely with your management colleagues, on day-to-day operations, securing strong collaboration in and outside the organization. Qualifications
You will be a great asset to our management team because you have:
• Solid leadership experience when it comes to developing, engaging, and creating followship within your organisation preferably with knowledge in leadership of skilled workers and operators
• Extensive experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing under GMP and preferably within aseptic production
• A holistic approach on solving challenges and great collaboration skills within your management group
• A relevant academic degree and full professional proficiency in Danish and English
• Strong lean or operational excellence toolbox You can understand through complex issues, and you are able to translate this into operational actions. You have an excellent quality mindset and business understanding and you can develop people as an individual and as part of a team. About the department
Our team is part of the Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Finished Products Gentofte and Vaarloese area that is the production site situated close to Copenhagen. Here we are app. 620 colleagues who take responsibility for transforming Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients into the finished product that patients can use all over the world. We are producing at full speed on existing lines while building and ramping up new state of the art facilities. Our complex processes require a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and include formulation, filling, freeze-drying, product inspection, assembly, and pack. We bring value to patients by delivering high-quality GMP compliant products in a timely and cost-efficient manner. We drive change by working actively with LEAN and always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
