Portfolio Strategy Partner
The position
As Portfolio Strategy Partner, you will enable value- and risk-based decisions based on insights, leveraging collaboration across the organization. You will report to the Head of DDS Portfolio Strategy & Management.
In this position, you will be expected to contribute to shaping recommendations and scenarios for the direction of our portfolio of delivery solutions, maximizing the value of Novo Nordisk products in the early- and late-stage pipelines. Also, you will be responsible to secure information flow, guidance, and recommendations, enabling the organization to maximize the use of resources and investments.
The job will give you a solid knowledge of the value chain and the Novo Nordisk organization as it requires a strong focus on stakeholder management across functions and organisational levels.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Support orchestrating portfolio of delivery solutions balancing risk, investment level and value. Defining roadmaps for how we realize value of our portfolio of delivery solutions. Continuous assessment scenarios and recommendations on allocation of resources and investment level. Deploying and maintaining tools and processes for excellence in portfolio management. Data gathering, analysis, and reporting. Qualifications
To succeed in this role: You are required to have a relevant high-level education, at least 3 years of experience with a variety of backgrounds, and a track record in portfolio management frameworks, processes, and tools. Experience from a relevant strategy consultancy combined with a job in pharma/MedTech industry is a strong asset. As a person, you are ambitious, analytical with an eye for details and embrace changes. Building trusting relationships across organisational levels is natural for you and you can influence the organization around you. As our corporate language is English, you must have a good command of the English language. You have good business acumen and can speak technical and business. You are sharp to interact with the management level (spoken & written) and you are recognised as a strong collaborator and facilitator. You have a strategic mindset and are quick to link and navigate across a strategy to operations. You translate trends and insights into scenarios and recommendations. You are data and digitally savvy. About the department
The Portfolio Strategy & Management is a team of 5 talented colleagues, part of DDS Strategic Development, a central function in the DDS SVP area (350+ FTEs). As part of Strategic Development, we leverage a strong link to the external landscape to drive strategic development of the DDS organisation to effectively build and progress a leading pipeline of delivery solutions. We drive strategy development and drive and facilitate execution through a combination of strategic resource allocation, portfolio strategy and management.
Our main goal is to enable decision-making through data and insights into internal and external trends and opportunities. We set direction and ambition levels for the DDS portfolio. We provide tools and transparency on status and progress to inform decision-making to maximise value, striving to do business in a financially, environmentally, and socially responsible way.
