Title: Scientist in DFP MANDEV, New Product Introduction
(temporary contract- 24 months)

Are you an innovative and open-minded scientist with a can-do attitude? Then we have the job for you. In the department ‘New Product Introduction’ (NPI) we have the main responsibility to transfer knowledge concerning future diabetes and obesity injectable products, from New Product Introduction to producing sites.
The position
In this role you will play an important part in preparing new insulin products for production. Your task will be to plan and prepare input to production processes and instructions. You will run validation of the insulin filling processes, and secure production approval of new products. You will work closely together with the department’s chemists using PPQ standards, and you will secure a proper hand over of instructions, records and documentation to the production sites.
Furthermore, you will work with deviation handling, production and process optimisation and securing cGMP compliance. Documentation and regulatory compliance are an essential part of the job as is technical writing and application reports for approval of new products. Participation in authority inspections from Danish and American authorities are mandatory.
One of many interesting challenges in the future will be assessing suitable Novo Nordisk production sites for new products around the globe, based on estimated market sales and sales regions. Travel activities between 10 – 20 days per year may occur.
Qualifications
- You hold a M.Sc. or Ph.D. within Engineering, Chemistry, Biophysics or other relevant scientific discipline.
- Your experience is less important, we value personality and the right mindset higher.
- You are comfortable speaking your mind, thriving in a challenging environment and understanding that finding great solutions requires to think outside the box and challenge status quo.

About the department
New Product introduction (NPI), is a part of Diabetes Finished Products, Manufacturing Development, and consists of approximately 45 employees divided between 3 teams located in Bagsværd, DK. The main responsibility of NPI is the transition of development products into large scale production, this includes production design, material and process sciences, product stability and coordination of production for late-phase clinical trials.
In this role, you become part of the NPI Manufacturing process team characterized by high experience and expertise, so it is not as important that you come with the greatest experience, but rather with a curious mindset to learn from others. We expect you at have strong drive and courage to contribute with ideas for change and improvement.
