Reporting to the Head of Global Security the Senior Security Manager is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing a security management program spanning across both Duty of Care, Supply Chain security, and Security Management within their regional Area of Responsibility (AoR)
This role is based in Copenhagen and it works closely with the wider security community in Regions, Areas and Terminals while supporting and guiding leadership on security-related matters.
A primary area of focus will be working with counterparts in Offices, Warehouse, Depos, and Terminals ensuring that minimum security-related standards are implemented and aligned across the Region. Security capacity building, and quality assurance is also included in the responsibility to further develop local capability, and quality in Areas and Terminals.

The Senior Security Manager in Europe and Hubs is required based on the request from the Head of Global Security to actively engage in developments and/or review of security-related standards, processes etc. supporting colleagues and regional operations.
You will be responsible for promoting and educating counterparts in the Areas and Terminals in the security-related part of the HSSE Management Framework as well as the use of information platforms available along with tools (internal and external) required to report incidents, conduct security risks assessments etc. You will also be accountable for proactively working with counterparts in Areas and Terminals ensuring that security requirements, including both duty of care and supply chain security-related requirements, are implemented across the region.
Other responsibilities:
• Proactively support regional business units and security/HSSE counterparts in Areas and Terminals on security management and incident handling.
• Monitor security and geopolitical developments and risks in AoR and ensure that risk mitigation plans and actions are sufficiently implemented.
• Oversee, support or produce security risk and vulnerability assessments.
• Maintain regional security-related dashboards in close coordination with the Insights and Digital Lead, and keep leadership in AoR abreast of statistics, agreed KPIs (leading and lagging indicators), and actions to mitigate risks.
• Where agreed ensure that employees from other non-integrated brands are fully incorporated into the duty of care initiatives and follow the same standards (ref. commit Rule). Escalate to the Head of Global Security if there are concerns.
• Ensure that Terminals have sufficient ISPS plans and procedures in place.
• Ensure that locations within AoR have quality assurance built into security mitigation.
• Support the Learning Hub in the development of security-related training and/or awareness material and take part in training and capacity building sessions as required.
• Identify areas locally where security awareness and behavioral realignment is required and run sessions in close coordination with counterparts in Areas and Terminals to create awareness and change behaviors.
• Support senior leadership in AoR with security-related requests, enquiries, and assessments.
• Perform all other tasks and/or projects as assigned by the department head

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of proven track record working in areas related to corporate security management, risk management or supply chain security management.
Preferably have an education/certification in an area associated with security management, risk management, and criminology from a recognized educational institution.
Have security experience from managing threats and risks from organized criminal networks and managing Duty of Care security programs.
Other qualifications:
• Experience with supply chain security management a plus
• Experience with ISPS an advantage
• Preferably experience in a similar role from a larger international company
• Well-articulated and used to present, interact, pitch and manage relationships towards senior management and senior stakeholders required
• Experience from running security projects remotely
• Capable of utilizing and expanding AoR security and local authority networks
• English level of minimum 13 – EF
