Key Responsibilities
As part of the Operations Management team, you will work with your team, peers and other key stakeholders to enable a successful progression to become an End-to-End Logistics Provider within Intra Europe.
You will be responsible to connect the needs of our customers and our operational ability to deliver, translating the priorities and strategies to your team.
Strong focus on excellent service delivery and results towards the customers, whilst continuously improve the cost of operating.
Accountable for the operational activities for all feeder vessel calls, from planning of schedules, making seasonal plans, to uptake of bookings and how we execute on it.
Engage with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, communicating proactively and collaboratively.
Drive organizational effectiveness by supporting learning/development and ensuring an inclusive environment for employees to thrive
Lead and handle vessel and cargo emergencies, in coordination with other functions and stakeholders.
Responsible for signing off the network design and its executability.
Responsible for forecasting performance, setting targets and budgeting sign off.
Foster innovative thinking and work towards standardizing and automating processes to reduce organizational waste and improve the customer experience.
Who we are looking for
A person with minimum 7-8 years’ experience in the shipping and logistics industry.
You thrive in a dynamic and diverse environment with high-pressure and complex scenarios.
Furthermore you:
- Able to drive change management.
- Customer oriented, with passion for delivering a high-level service for our customers.
- Track record of building high performing teams and developing talent.
- Excellent at priority setting and working collaboratively
