The department
Trial Data Management is part of the global Data Management organisation within the Data Science area at Novo Nordisk. We are responsible for ensuring the integrity and timely flow of clinical trial data through the many systems we use for data collection for our clinical trials, conforming to regulatory requirements and industry-standards.
Trial Data Management delivers high quality data for further analysis, reporting and submission and work with a wide range of stakeholders across the global Novo Nordisk organisation.

The position
We are offering a position as Project Data Manager in the Other Serious Chronic Diseases and Outcomes area.
As a Project Data Manager at Novo Nordisk, you are responsible for the portfolio of data management activities within a specific project area, ensuring our timely and high-quality data management deliverables in close collaboration with a global team of data managers and stakeholders across the Novo Nordisk organisation.
You will lead and set direction for data management activities through trial planning, setup, execution, and closure as well as supervise and evaluate the data management processes throughout the life cycle of a clinical project.
In close collaboration with the manager of the team, you will act as a support to the many data managers and other key stakeholders you work with by establishing transparency in progress and communicating clinical project-level information and strategies.
The position requires a talent and keen interest in motivating and engaging a large group of people and you will often be a mentor for other data managers to help strengthen the competences of the team.
Being innovative and developing fit for purpose solutions, sharing your knowledge with peers and being an active partner in transformational activities is a key priority for Trial Data Management. This requires us to excel in our project leadership, our communication and it requires us to have a solid understanding of the data we collect to provide meaningful insights for our stakeholders.
You are expected to actively engage in various fora and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- You hold a B.Sc. or M.SC within data science, natural sciences, or other relevant degree
- A minimum of 5 years of data management experience within the pharmaceutical industry and preferably experience leading a larger portfolio of activities
- You have a solid understanding of GCP and relevant regulatory requirements
- Experience working with industry-standard clinical data management systems (Inform, Rave, Data Management Workbench etc.), relational databases and data visualisation tools is preferred
- Excellent project leadership skills are required, including collaboration with external vendors and/or CROs
- You are a skilled communicator and fluent in English
- You work independently, take responsibility, and show initiative
