Are you experienced in global clinical development and are you passionate about working with and modernising decentralised clinical trial elements? Are you eager to drive process optimisation to facilitate world-class execution of clinical trials? Do you thrive to work with many different stakeholders across the organisation? Then you might be our new Competency Development Specialist.
This position offers a unique opportunity to directly impact the future way we operate within our global Clinical Operations organisation by bringing expertise within decentralised trial elements to our global clinical organisation.
The position
In this position, you will be driving our continued modernisation of the way we conduct clinical trials. You will be working closely with colleagues across the global organisation, including colleagues responsible for innovative trial designs. You are expected to be proactive in engaging in relevant external collaborations/networks to leverage the insights related to methods of modernising clinical trials. You are also expected to engage in other process optimisation projects aiming for efficient, innovative and fit-for purposes processes enabling world-class clinical trial execution. You will have a key role in cross-functional improvement projects, where you will contribute to project deliverables and oversight of the project.
You will be part of a dynamic department, with a position that offers high impact, and where you are expected to take ownership and responsibility to drive change and process improvements in the global organisation.
Qualifications
You have a degree in pharmacy, medicine, science or similar and a strong command of written and spoken English. You have extensive experience in Clinical Operations combined with a strong insight into the value chain within a pharma company.
You take a positive and pragmatic approach to problem solving and you are eager to optimise and simplify processes around you. You are proactive, courageous, determined and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You are curious and you have a risk-based mindset as well as a can-do attitude. You are goal-oriented, and a team player and you thrive working across skill areas and cultures in a global organisation.
About the department
The position is based in the Clinical Operations Office within the Clinical Operations Centre of Expertise. We are a team of 16 dedicated colleagues working globally to facilitate process optimisation and competency building of our colleagues working with product development projects. This position focusing on Decentralised trial elements is a new position and you will have the possibility to shape the Role.
