An attractive opportunity has become available in Global IT Operations (GITO) with focus on meeting rooms in Novo Nordisk, and if you have the experience and knowledge needed to ensure stable operations and maintenance of our many meeting rooms, this is your opportunity.
Global IT is launching a new initiative to create the necessary core IT capabilities within infrastructure, integrations, data management, platforms and IT Support that will enable the digitalisation and future growth of our business. Throughout 2020 we will be recruiting different profiles for this initiative. This is our first wave of hiring so the people we bring on board now will have a unique chance to put their footprint on the programme.
About the department
GITO Service Desk and IT Support is a newly established unit consisting of multiple teams of highly skilled and dedicated employees located around the world acting responsible for both 1st level support, onsite support and single point of contact in the local sites, while also participating actively in Product Teams in our other Product areas such as Digital Workplace and Infrastructure.
GITO consists of 200+ employees across more than 25 countries with main hubs in Denmark, USA and India. Global IT Operations helps drive the digital transformation of Novo Nordisk.
The GITO Service Desk and IT Support Product Area cover core services such as Service Desk, On-site support and Major Incident Management, but also require a key focus on incident management, knowledge management, problem Management, ITSM analytics, automation, self-service, self-healing and intelligent swarming.
The position
Your primary responsibilities will be AV and meeting room support of our +400 meeting rooms in Bagsværd. This includes end user communication, trouble shooting, identification of improvements and the day to day operation activities. You will be working in close collaboration with your colleagues and different stakeholders in order to maintain and improve the IT and AV equipment in our meeting rooms, such as Large Format Displays and monitors, Cisco VCON equipment, Jabra speakers and various cables (HDMI, USB, AUX etc.).
It is important that you can collaborate and work at a high professional level, both internally and externally. It is necessary to have a sense for details and an eye for efficient execution and take pride in delivering an excellent service.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has a relevant education within the field and three or more years of hands-on experience.
You have a service-minded, positive and engaging personality with a can-do attitude with ability to converse at all levels in the organization and interact with different stakeholders in a global organisation.
In order to ensure an accurate understanding of a user’s needs you must furthermore be able to communicate both verbally and in writing in both Danish and English, as a minimum.
