Are you studying for your Bachelor or Master degree and are you looking for practical experience within communication and event planning at Novo Nordisk? Then you might be the intern we are looking for in our Global HR function.
About the department
Global Talent Attraction is part of the Global HR function at Novo Nordisk, where the main objective is to increase the knowledge and attractiveness of Novo Nordisk as a workplace for early talents (students from Bachelor to Post Doc level) from Danish & global universities across our key markets. We function as a centre of excellence for our business areas and help them address their specific challenges in attracting and recruiting early talents. You get the opportunity to join a diverse team with a variety of backgrounds (HR, communication, marketing and international business). We are a small team and it is therefore expected that you are self-driven, a quick-learner, team-player and are willing to take initiative for given tasks.
The position
The internship encompasses both broad value communication and specific talent attraction. We are looking for an intern who can inspire us with creative ways of presenting Novo Nordisk to an extensive field of potential candidates and present us to the early talents from Danish & global universities in a convincing and professional manner through career fair participation and collaboration with internal and external partners at various levels.
Your day could include tasks as:
- Arranging workshops for 100+ people
- Making presentations for the management team
- Collecting data and presenting them in the best possible way
- Planning and evaluating career fairs
- Practical task in relation to career fairs
- Different administrative work
- Driving webinars
- Participating in career fairs and promotion events
- Performing stakeholder interviews
- Writing articles
- Editing video
- Assisting on SOME campaigns
In the position, you will communicate with a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders, which will provide you with a large network in the organization. Furthermore, you will plan, co-ordinate and participate in University Career Fairs and Events.
We are a data-driven team, so it is therefore important that you are also comfortable dealing with data. Importantly, there will also be general administrative and ad-hoc tasks. The right candidate will have plenty of opportunities to influence the projects he/she will be involved in.
Practicalities:
- Internship period: The internship position is a full-time position for 3-6 months (with a preference for 6 months)
- Working hours: 37 hours per week (flexible during exam period)
- Preferred start date: 1 August 2020
- Internship is payed
- The intern will be based in Kalundborg with some working days in Bagsværd. There are regular Novo Nordisk shuttle busses to and from Copenhagen to Kalundborg.
Qualifications
We are looking for an intern who is passionate about branding, marketing, communication and event planning. You are currently studying a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Management, HRM, Organizational Psychology or related fields.
You are an outgoing person with excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, which makes it easy for you to build trustful relations across geography and departments. You follow through on your many initiatives, are able to multi-task, thrive in a dynamic environment and your attitude is solution focused and proactive. You have a great general understanding of IT systems and basic graphic design skills would be a plus. You consider yourself to be structured and keen on the details. Preferably, you are experienced with data analysis and survey setups and presentations. Moreover, you are available to travel to different locations for events and career fairs.
We expect you to be able to work responsibly and professionally, and you will receive all the adequate support to succeed. Because you will be working with international business partners, it is a requirement that you are proficient in English, both spoken as well as in writing.
Students must be enrolled on their Bachelor or Master’s degree throughout the internship.
