In Global IT we are launching a new initiative to create the transparency into our infrastructure, IT systems and integrations. This will enable Novo Nordisk to act proactive on a solid data foundation and enable the digitalisation and future growth of our business. Throughout 2020 we will be recruiting different profiles for this initiative. This is our first wave of hiring so the people we bring on board now will have a unique chance to put their footprint on the programme. You will be part of developing the foundational IT capabilities required for Novo Nordisk to succeed with an ambitious transformation of our entire business process landscape.
About the department
The position is based in Global IT Operations, an area with 200+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries managing our infrastructure operations and digital workplace services. The Corporate Infrastructure department is a team of highly skilled and dedicated employees responsible for the network architecture and future development of the administrative network in Novo Nordisk. We are currently implementing software defined network and other new platforms to help support the future digital journey. We are on a journey applying agile ways of working in our IT projects and in operations. This will be delivered according to the SAFE framework with agile teams running sprints/iterations on in a global organisation.
About the position
As Monitoring Specialist, you will be responsible for converting data into actionable graphs and data visualisations. You will integrate data sources with the purpose of providing holistic performance metrics to drive impact. And you will participate in identifying problems and developing solutions as well as recommendations based on best practices solutions.
Qualifications
You have an education as B.Sc / M.Sc. within IT or an analytical field. Preferably, you have at least 4-5 years of experience from a similar role with related responsibility and tasks from supply chain management, finance, web statistics or a similar role working with data points, measurements and visual displays.
You have experience in working with data mining, combining data sources and visualisations tools such as Splunk, Tableau, Alteryx, Google Analytics, Power BI or the like.
Most importantly is your understanding of how to connect data to business decision while translating insights into recommendation.
Also, you have planning and time management skills, and are motivated by taking ownership of larger deliverables across CVP and functional areas.
