About the department
You will join the business area Training & Capability Building which is a part of Global People & Organisation. You will become part of a department that is responsible for delivering training management and ensuring a standardized, data-driven, and automated set-up.
We are 20 highly dedicated people in our department, who are responsible for providing support and guidance on training management. We develop and implement global training management processes and tools, and we work with data and analytics to improve training across Novo Nordisk.
In the department, you will experience that we strive for operational excellence and set ambitious targets. We promote a global mindset and a data-driven approach and are dedicated to solving concrete business challenges.
The position
As our Data Analyst, you will develop solutions to simplify and automate the management of business-critical training. Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Design and deliver scalable data solutions to support business needs/challenges related to training
• Provide and present global business insights by leveraging different analytics tools
• Support the development of the project pipeline and provide input to the strategic direction for Training & Capability Building
• Create transparency and availability of training data across the organisation and develop insights to solve specific business needs
• Support management by creating the foundation for data-driven decisions
The position requires extensive collaboration and alignment with global stakeholders across functions and organisational levels. You will be a key person in the development of strategies to take the use of training data across Novo Nordisk to the next level.
Qualifications
To be a successful candidate, you:
• Hold a relevant Master’s degree and have at least 3 years’ of experience with Data & Analytics
• Have experience with Alteryx, R, Python or another programming language, as well as with visualizing business insights (e.g. in PowerBI)
• Have experience with or a strong interest in process optimisation
• Possess a solid understanding of data and how they fit together in data models
• Have strong communication skills, both verbally and written in English
To succeed in the position, you must have a high degree of independent decision making and thrive when working in a team. You are innovative and proactively seek improvements on strategic and operational level and can turn complex analysis into clear conclusions/actions. You pay strong attention to details while maintaining a good overview and you have the ability to manage several tasks at the same time.
