About the role

The position requires a forward-looking perspective and being up to date with ways of working, collaborating and new technologies, as well as ability to find alternative ways to identify new solutions – and rethinking the way we work and plan. To achieve this, it takes someone who can focus on optimization and see opportunities rather than constraints.

Among your main areas of responsibilities, you can expect to oversee:

  • assessment of the organizational environment, teams, and individuals through interviews, focus groups, and other means,
  • evaluation of the current climate, as well as identification of focus areas to help colleagues recognize and rediscover an innovation mindset,
  • the scouting and collecting of ideas and co-developing concepts to accelerate future production,
  • pushing the agenda of how we think up processes in relation to technology innovation and business needs using the framework of Design Thinking, Google Venture Sprints and Agile Scrum,
  • driving the overall transformation towards an Agile setup, selection of projects, education, and team coaching.

Moreover, you will be the one encouraging people to learn, pioneer, adapt, develop look-ahead skills, etc. to get better at innovation. You will be training champions all throughout the organization within key framework of Design Thinking, Google Venture Sprint and Agile Scrum. You will empower them to embrace risk, experiment, and take ownership.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, we envision you as someone who:

  • has experience, from previous roles, in using the frameworks of Design Thinking, Google Venture Sprints, Agile Scrum,
  • has a natural talent for planning, presenting, facilitating, working independently and creatively,
  • can ensure good cooperation internally and externally, as well as constantly be looking for methods to drive innovation processes,
  • can constantly inspire and investigate why and how to create a great environment to drive the innovation agenda both from a cultural and strategic level.
  • is a strong communicator and a proficient user of the English language in both speaking and writing.

Finally, we will expect you to represent Novo Nordisk at conferences, symposiums, university and business school campuses, or even external companies in relation to seeking out other innovative frameworks and methods. Good stakeholder management abilities will therefore come in handy.

A relevant educational background, either at a bachelor’s or master’s level, is an advantage, but for this role, we are more interested in the skills and experience accumulated from previous positions.

About the department

Business Support is a growing department, within Device Manufacturing Development, consisting of highly skilled people in various domains. We are an innovative department who strive to meet complex needs in the Novo Nordisk.

We are a lively and diverse team, with experts from various educational backgrounds. We are both men and women, some of us freshly graduated and others with many years of experience backing us up. At work, although ambitions are high, we try to keep a light and informal tone. You will be a fully-fledged member of the team from day one, and we will train and onboard you with great care. You will experience workdays with a large degree of independence. At the same time, you will have the chance to work closely with highly skilled colleagues across the organization.
