About The Department
Medical & Science, PFDD is part of Medical & Science Centre of Expertise. The purpose of Medical & Science Centre of Expertise is to connect the Medical & Science organisation while driving scientifically sound medical deliverables across the Novo Nordisk project portfolio. The team includes two departments: Patient Focused Drug Development and Scientific Excellence. There is in total 18 employees with highly diverse backgrounds including medical experts, public health professionals, and competency development professionals.
Medical & Science, PFDD has one Senior Director, four Clinical Outcome Assessments (COA) Managers and one Principal PFDD Support. We are passionate about bringing the patients perspectives at the heart of everything we do and are proud of our inclusive and learning team culture. Patients’ perspectives and experiences are important focus areas for Novo Nordisk when developing better treatments for people living with a serious chronic disease. We seek a person with skills, interest and experience in integrating COA and interview or questionnaire-based measures into our clinical development programs.
The Position
As a COA manager, you will be a key driver in placing the patient in the centre of our clinical data generation. You will also play a key role in making effective COA strategy and generation of relevant patient experience data in close collaboration with key stakeholders to support patient focused drug development in our global development programs. You will be involved across drug development life cycle from clinical development planning to trial execution and finally communication of the achieved outcomes. You will be responsible for the development, validation, and implementation of fit-for-purpose COAs for clinical trials within a broad range of diseases.
In this position, you will work closely with important stakeholders from clinical drug development, medical affairs, health economy and marketing, as well as various external vendors and advisors to support execution of daily tasks.

Qualifications

- hold a master’s degree in relevant field and minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience
- have experience in integrating COA and qualitative measures into clinical studies following ICH/GCP and relevant regulatory guidelines
- be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- preferably have vendor management experience
