The Position As a Marine Engineer, you will become part of the department's technical team, where your primary tasks are the operation and maintenance of site supplies and technical installations. The department's primary focus will be on Campus Bagsværd, but services are also delivered to other Novo Nordisk Campuses in Denmark, giving the position a broad interface, requiring a "can-do" attitude with internal and external stakeholders. Your focus will be on:
• ensuring maximum uptime for our technical supply systems so our research, development, and production can run 24/7
• having insight into how to continuously optimize the operational economy of the technical systems.
• driving and executing various types of energy projects related to operations of different characters and complexities.
• making sure we are always in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and procedures.
• developing, preparing, and reorganizing operations for future growth and green supply solutions, in collaboration with the operation responsible Marine Engineer. Part of the job involves being part of a 24/7 on-call schedule to ensure that we are always available in case the unforeseen happens. Qualifications To be considered for this position, you should have:
• a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• 2+ years’ experience in modern operation and maintenance of supply and utility technical systems, but we also welcome newly graduates to apply.
• a strong focus on optimizing the process with associated documentation.
• the ability to translate your technical insight and knowledge into operational processes.
• professional proficiency in English and Danish. On a personal level, you are service-minded, proactive, engaged, and passionate about delivering high quality to the customer on time. As an independent professional, you easily identify opportunities, make decisions, and stand by them. In this position it is essential to work efficiently and systematically, to ensure task execution.
