Do you want to be a tech lead in our DeltaV team covering two production facilities in Gentofte? We need a senior automation engineer to help us increase our automation capacity, by digitalizing and automating our processes, so that we can produce smarter? The department You will be part of an IT/OT department covering 7 API production facilities placed all over Zealand. We support daily operations, plan and executes projects and set the strategic direction. The department consists of 60+ competent, open-minded, and curious IT and Automation Technicians and Engineers. The team The team covers IT/OT support in two separate API facilities in Gentofte. The team consists of 5 automation engineers. The demand for more IT/OT solutions is growing and we expect the team to grow accordingly. About the role You will get to implement new automated solutions and play an important role both in the daily work and in systems and process upgrading. You will play a central role in maintaining and optimizing our applications while ensuring stability and supporting our production lines. You will ensure that our DCS solution continues to stay stable. The job allows you to become part of upgrading our production IT platform. You will also be a part of cross-organizational peer networks, allowing you to build your know-how and knowledge of how things are done in a state-of-the-art organization, where specialists, experts, and supporters are eager to share their experiences. Lastly, you will be collaborating with operators and supporters to analyze and identify possible optimizations. The job:
  • As tech lead you will set the direction and define strategy for the DCS setup towards to production facilities.
  • Participate in projects and provide input on automation solutions to our stakeholders.
  • You are the go-to person for the rest of your team and you will help then improve their technical skills.
  • You will design solutions and perform code updates to optimize our production processes within DeltaV.
  • Qualify changes in the system and ensure QA Department approvals.
  • Troubleshoot and test system deviations in production.
  • Do you have what it takes? Whatever your background, it is a prerequisite that you have a strong desire to achieve process knowledge and provide the best solutions in close cooperation with our production. To succeed in the role, you have:
  • Technical or academic education within IT, automation, engineering, or similar
  • Experience within the operation of manufacturing processes and Process Control Systems (PCS), preferably DeltaV; less experienced candidates are considered as well
  • Virtual server environments knowledge is an advantage e.g.: Microsoft Hyper-V, OPC, and SQL databases
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, willingness to learn Danish would be advantageous
