LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner with an approach to sustainability that is core to our values – and that is why we need you.
The Global Sustainability team works with internal and external stakeholders to guide the implementation of LEO Pharma’s sustainability strategy and improve our performance. Our 2030 Sustainability Strategy is built on two pillars: Enabling Health and Responsible Business.
Join us as Sustainability Advisor in Global Sustainability where you will help drive transformation and contribute to developing a sustainability function recognized as a business value driver across LEO Pharma globally. You will report to the Global Head of Sustainability and be based at our headquarters in Ballerup.
Your responsibilities
In this role you will primarily support our sustainability work in the pillar of Responsible Business and ESG reporting. You will support the delivery of LEO Pharma’s 2030 Sustainability Strategy, the development of new sustainability programs and the integration of the sustainability strategy across the business.
Your key tasks will be:
- Support the development and implementation of sustainability programs and due diligence and risk assessment processes to ensure LEO Pharma meets current good practice and standards
- Support sustainability reporting and development of ESG metrics, including data collection and quarterly scorecard
- Provide subject matter expertise, research, analysis and peer benchmarks on ESG issues relevant to LEO Pharma and conduct assessments of LEO Pharma current performance on key issues and recommendations for further development
- Development of briefing materials for Senior Management as required
Your qualifications
We expect you to bring 3-5 years’ work experience with sustainability in a corporate setting. In addtion you:
- are a subject matter expert in ESG and corporate sustainability performance.
- bring an understanding the importance of driving impact, including setting KPIs and tracking performance of sustainability initatives focused on responsible business practices
- have a good eye for identifying emerging sustainability themes and for positioning the company accordingly and you know how to identify and execute actions to address themes
- possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English and are able to prepare concise and easy to understand materials that meets business interests as well as external stakeholder interests
- have proven project management skills, an ability to work systematically and in a dynamic environment, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, solution oriented mindset
- are an engaging and curious person with strong internpersonal skills, and have experience working in an international, mutli-cultural environment
- hold a Master’s Degree within Social or Environmental Sciences; or other relevant degree

Global Communication, Public Affairs & Sustainability is responsible for corporate branding, communication, public affairs, and corporate social responsibility. We are helping LEO Pharma achieve its mission of helping people achieve healthy skin by shaping its profile and engaging external stakeholders as well as employees.
The Global Sustainability team is a small dedicated team of specialists working across the business in driving LEO Pharma’s sustainability work globally. We keep a keen eye on future trends and help LEO Pharma and commit to operating in a way that contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
