Are you passionate about digital, data and IT and want to help drive and develop the strategic direction within Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) and across Novo Nordisk by facilitating and supporting the Digital, Data & IT committee (DDIcom), our CIO and the leadership team by driving and anchoring the ambitions for DD&IT. What to expect As our new Vice President, you will use your expertise to drive strategic initiatives and problem solving of high importance topics to the CIO and Senior leadership across Line of Business (e.g. DDIcom). You will use your outstanding stakeholder management skills to build trusting relationships and through collaboration play a vital role in delivering on key digital, data and IT strategy targets. Your main responsibility includes: Drive and facilitate the Digital, Data & IT Committee (DDIcom) meetings together with the CIO, ensuring proactively planning of the agenda/topics for discussions, by ongoingly capturing and aligning input from DDIcom members, key stakeholders in Line of Business and DD&IT colleagues. Drive and facilitate the DDIcom portfolio, which is a number of key initiatives delivered by Line of Business together with DD&IT across the value chain. Tracking benefit realizations and validating this against Novo Nordisk’s Corporate Digital Strategy and ambitions. Drive, facilitate and ensure anchoring of the Digital, Data & IT strategy. Aligning this with the Corporate Digital Strategy, focusing on creating a clear common strategic direction across DD&IT which is aligned with Line of Business goals and DD&IT areas. Drive the sustainability agenda across the DD&IT organisation to ensure we reach our company wide target of becoming Net Zero no later than 2045. This includes developing and tracking strategies aligned with corporate targets, managing sustainability projects, and ensuring transparent reporting on progress. Co-drive and facilitate Big Tech Partnerships together with key stakeholders, within DD&IT as well as Line og Business. This includes partnerships such as Microsoft. Ensuring an aligned approach for working with top tech partners, that allows for flexibility while at the same time keeping oversight, ensuring access to the needed stakeholders in the partnership and link to the overall strategic ambitions of DD&IT and Novo Nordisk. Act as the sparring partner for the CIO, by sharing industry trends and different perspectives, captured through internal and external partner engagements (larger consulting firms). Together with DD&IT colleagues drive “ad hoc” DD&IT consultancy work, such as benchmarking, organizational assessments, and development etc. Qualifications You bring solid pharma experience and has a minimum of 8-10 years of proven record within strategy work – including IT and digital strategies, working with digital/agile operating models (products and platforms). You have a solid understanding of technology trends, their impact on strategy, business and their implications for senior management in creating and sustaining a competitive advance. You have used your management consultancy toolbox to solve different complex business challenges, and have successfully applied your skills in large organisations. Throughout your career you have built strong leadership skills, and you are able to successfully coach and develop people to drive a high performing team.

You are able to engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels, you have a talent for connecting the dots and seeing the bigger picture and your strong interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relationships that enables you to challenge executive leaders.
