Project Controller

The position
As our new Project Controller, you will be responsible for managing financials within direct project execution.

Your day-to-day areas of responsibilities include:
• Developing, creating, monitoring, and executing cost controls
• Focus on cost management, scheduling, project resources, progress reports, forecasting, and risk management
• Supplement your business/finance/accounting knowledge with broad technical knowledge within pharmaceutical production, which will help you in your daily work
• Build a broad network in Novo Nordisk with regular contact with many different areas of the business to govern solutions within the projects.

You will become part of a newly established, diverse team with an informal tone and good collaboration. The mantra of the team is “freedom with responsibility” and you will be given the opportunity to structure your workday within the boundaries of a fast-moving project.

Qualifications
You hold a master's in Finance, Accounting, Project Management, or Business and possess 3+ years of practical cost controlling and/or project management experience.

Ideally, you:
• Have knowledge in executing step-by-step cost controlling
• Have experience creating and forecasting project budgets/costs
• Are excellent at communicating and reporting complex financial statements at all levels of an organisation
• Have strong collaborative skills and feel comfortable reaching out to stakeholders
• If you have previous experience from working in a GMP regulated industry is a big plus

As a person, you are curious to learn and attentive to details. You are structured and work independently and proactively across a broad stakeholder landscape. Your structured approach allows you to maintain a broad overview while keeping an eye for the details. You have flair for translating complex issues into communication easily absorbed by upper management.

As a professional, you have effective analytical capabilities to be able to communicate complex sets of data to management in an easy-to-understand way, ultimately providing direction and influencing decision making. Furthermore, whilst working independently, you thrive driving initiatives and have a forward-thinking outlook. For this position, you are required to be fluent in spoken and written English.

About the department
BRD API Denmark is in Gentofte, Hillerød and Kalundborg. This is where the active ingredients, going into all our life-saving biotech products, are made by app. 500 committed colleagues.

We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We are producing at full speed in existing facilities, while building and ramping up new state of the art additions to keep up with demand and new Novo Nordisk products.

We bring value to patients by delivering the purest possible high-quality API made in compliance with GMP. We drive change by always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
