Agile People Leader

The position
As our new Agile People Leader, you will be part of the Laboratory Solutions (LABS) leadership team, that manages and prioritises the agile deliveries. Your focus will be on removing impediments for the teams, leading the agile transformation by coaching the employees, ensuring the long-term strategic competence needs of the area and to support the development and growth of the individual career paths.
In the role as Agile People Leader in an agile context, your key responsibilities will include:
Moreover, we expect you to be able to build Agile, personal and professional competencies, working closely with our projects to ensure external recruitment and align with stakeholders and the agile teams.
Eventually, as People Leader, you will report to the head of LABS in Manufacturing IT and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, supporting the development and growth of 20-30 people primarily based in Bagsværd and Hillerød (DK).

Agile skills and toolbox include advanced knowledge and coaching skills on how to continuously evolve an organisational Agile mindset. You come with experience in communication and safeguarding of the SAFe and Agile principles and practices. Your background has been built with leading a transformation through personal advocacy, engagement and leadership

About the department
Manufacturing IT is anchored within the Digital, Data & IT organisation and has approx. 850 employees based in Denmark, India, US, China, France and Brazil. The strategic objective of the unit is to be the IT partner for the business, ensuring that we provide the IT solutions and support to support the Novo Nordisk production solution as well as supply chain needs worldwide.
Global IT is ongoing an Agile Transformation, and in Manufacturing IT we are proudly supporting this journey. By the end of February 2020, we launched two Agile Release Trains (ART) across the ERP logistics landscape in collaboration across Manufacturing IT, Product Supply and Commercial Supply Chain units. To continue this transformation, we are looking for two People Leaders to join us in Manufacturing IT.
Your future department is newly established and consist of people working in the Laboratory IT area in Manufacturing IT. The team atmosphere is informal and friendly, and consists of ambitious, curious and skilled IT specialists, working with laboratory IT systems and computerized equipment.

- Have a Master’s degree in a relevant area
- Be motivated by people development and be driving the strategic people agenda for the area
- Have 3+ years in a role with leadership experience, ideally also with direct people responsibility preferably within IT or digitalisation
- Be SAFe certified and/or have practical experience of using Agile methodologies
- Be fluent in English
