The Position
As Product Platform Responsible in FlexTouch® Development, you will have the overall responsibility of one of our delivery system platforms together with our Product Responsibles and Design Engineers. You will be the point of contact for Platform product as you will have the oversight, know the status of the product, and know the variant pipeline at all time.
Some of your main tasks include:
On top of that, you will be contributing to the continuous improvement of our everyday work as well as process improvement initiatives.
The position may occasionally require oversea travel.

It would be considered as strong advantage if you are familiar with design control regulations such as 21 CFR Part 820 and 21 CFR Part 4.

About the department
The position is in Device Development which is part of Novo Nordisk Device & Manufacturing Development (DMD). Device Development holds the design responsibility for Novo Nordisk’s medical devices and delivery systems and is the link between Device R&D and production.
In Device Development, the main task is to maintain marketed products as well as develop new variants of existing product platforms. Our deliverables have direct impact on our ability to deliver to the market, on patient safety, and on compliance with the requirements of the authorities.
You will join the FlexTouch Development Team and be working alongside colleagues with various educations and work experience. You can look forward to an exciting job engaging with multiple stakeholders at global and local level.

The Position
As Product Platform Responsible in FlexTouch® Development, you will have the overall responsibility of one of our delivery system platforms together with our Product Responsibles and Design Engineers. You will be the point of contact for Platform product as you will have the oversight, know the status of the product, and know the variant pipeline at all time.
Some of your main tasks include:
- Driving activity in the post-launch phase of the platform, keeping a high-level strategic overview and working in close cooperation with our Product Responsibles and Design Engineers, as well as other stakeholders.
- Ensuring alignment and clarifying interfaces with both internal and external stakeholder groups.
- The identification, initiation, coordination, execution of development and enhancement initiatives related to design controls, to ensure the technical file is up to date.
- Having the overview of upcoming submissions, launches, and regulatory strategies for the platform.
- To forecast support needs and foresee potential customer complaints when launching new variants as well as assessing potential design control impact.
On top of that, you will be contributing to the continuous improvement of our everyday work as well as process improvement initiatives.
The position may occasionally require oversea travel.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
- Hold a master’s degree in engineering, biomechanics, science, manufacturing, pharmaceutical or any other relevant field.
- Have at least 5 years of experience working with drug devices/combination products in a design engineering, system engineering, regulatory affair, project or portfolio management position within a medical devices or pharmaceutical industry.
- Be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Possess the ability to work in an agile way, driving several tasks simultaneously.
- Have strong networking and stakeholder management skills which allow you to set direction, drive performance and ensure quality, speed, and agility in a complex stakeholder environment, often with diverging interests.
