The position
As Quality Engineer, you will facilitate systematic problem-solving and handle the deviations and customer complaints from when they are received in our department until the cases are concluded by Quality Assurance (QA), in collaboration with dedicated colleagues across a truly global organization.The main purpose of this role is to safeguard patient safety and improve product quality by ensuring a high-quality root-cause investigation and the right corrective actions.Your key responsibilities include:
  • Applying an investigative approach to conduct root-cause analysis and facilitate systematic problem-solving
  • Collaborating closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, QA, Process Experts, and R&D, to handle device issues
  • Identifying and engaging the right people to develop optimal solutions
  • Assisting in continuously improving processes, applying a lean mindset
  • Your job area will be within medical devices and covers several different technologies more specifically within advanced injection moulding, metal components, electronics, and assembly. Our suppliers are located all over the world.     Qualifications
    To succeed in the role, we believe you:
  • Hold an academic degree in mechanics, manufacturing, engineering, or a related field
  • Demonstrate previous experience in systematic problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and handling deviations within quality assurance, moulding, or assembly
  • Possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice, ideally obtained within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
  • Display fluency in both written and spoken English

Finally, you are curious and seek to understand the underlying complexities, gaining energy by going on the shopfloor and interacting with your stakeholders or your team.

    About the Department

    Quality Support is located in beautiful surroundings in Hillerød, north of Copenhagen. Here 19 Quality Engineers handle customer complaints and deviations for all Novo Nordisk prefilled and durable devices. We review and challenge root-cause investigation and drive a continuous development of this competence in-house and at our outsourcing partners. We share an informal tone, in a diverse cultural setting, and we enjoy learning from each other, striving together to deepen our understanding of an increasingly complex area – and we look forward to making you feel welcome here.
