The position
You will primarily work with PLC (Rockwell) and play a key role, in influencing our current and future production facilities with the best solutions within automation and digitalization. You will collaborate with professionals with various backgrounds in academics and technical expertise. Our common goal is simple: A sustainable and robust production platform, fit for the future.

Qualifications
Experience with PLC in a professional environment and/or other automated systems is preferred but not a must.
About the department
You will be part of the Operational Technology team with 20 dedicated and skilled colleagues who are responsible for automation within production equipment, utilities, and processes throughout the entire production site. We have key competencies within design, installation, validation, monitoring, and optimisation of technical equipment. Our team consists mainly of engineers and technicians.
The team is part of Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing (NMS) in Hjørring which is a Novo Nordisk production site with approximately 400 employees. NMS has the overall responsibility of the global supply chain of Novo Nordisk pen needles including both internal and external production, quality assurance, and manufacturing development.

The position

Your responsibilities summed up:
- Understand, troubleshoot optimize advanced automation systems (e.g.: SCADA, iFIX and Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE)
- Secure the needed level of documentation
- Participate in up-coming projects designing new equipment and developing our production IT platform with new state-of-the-art technology
- Provide technical knowledge regarding automation and/or collaborative robotics
As you will be working with production, you will have broad opportunities to develop your skills and engage in hands-on experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Qualifications
- An academic degree or technical background within engineering or automation
- Knowledge or understanding of PLC/SCADA control of production lines
- Are structured and analytic in your approach and find it natural to document your work
- Have a quality-minded approach: You find it a natural thing to follow through until the job has been accomplished to satisfaction
- Are curious and find it easy to create new relations and collaborations across departments
- Have excellent communication skills in English and Danish, both oral and written.
