Business Analyst (SME) in LabVantage Platform

About the department
LABs is a part of Manufacturing IT in Global IT. In LABs you will be part of a highly engaged department working with IT systems for Product Supply, developing and improving systems which are core to the laboratory processes in Novo Nordisk. You will be participating in the operation, maintenance and development of a global GxP critical IT system. You will be working with a team of colleagues both in DK and India, and you will have ample opportunity for professional sparring and best practice exchanges in your daily work. Furthermore, LABs is involved in projects with Product Supply, working closely together to ensure that business processes are adequately supported by IT systems as well as supporting Novo Nordisk on the QC 4.0 journey towards paperless labs.
The job
The job as a business analyst entails working in close collaboration with our agile teams based in both Denmark and India. These teams are responsible for the systems that are built on the LabVantage platform i.e. globalLIMs (Global Laboratory Information System) and PEMS (Production Environmental Monitoring System)

The job
The job as a business analyst entails working in close collaboration with our agile teams based in both Denmark and India. These teams are responsible for the systems that are built on the LabVantage platform i.e. globalLIMs (Global Laboratory Information System) and PEMS (Production Environmental Monitoring System)
Your main tasks would be to:
- Engage with Line of Business (LoB) to gather, analyze, and approve requirements from the QC laboratories then apply industry best practices to articulate requirements into solutions and system designs that can be implemented by agile teams.
- Supporting the technical team to build solutions that meet the user requirements within the LabVantage framework while also applying best practise from the industry.
- Offer 3rd level support for users i.e. understand their needs and issues to be resolved
- Work independently or together with other team members to analyze and resolve technical LabVantage issues
- Ensure the standardization of both globalLIMs and PEMs usage and minimize the level of customization applying whenever possible the out of the box procedures
- Lead complex enhancement requests or small projects
- Act as the LabVantage subject matter expert within the globalLIMS & PEMs IT DevOps team
Qualifications
- You hold a relevant educational background e.g. Bachelor, Masters or equivalent in sciences. Being a microbiologist or chemist is a plus
- You have a proven track record with 2-5 years of experience with Laboratory Information Management systems (LIMS), preferably as an end user, primarily the LabVantage software in large global organisations from the pharmaceutical industry, which has given you a solid analytic approach to problem solving.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Technical knowledge around interfaces, messaging protocols, automation and programming
- You are an outside the box thinker and very curious
- You preferably have some agile knowledge or training.
