Infrastructure Responsible IT Engineer
Are infrastructure and technology on your list of favourites? Do your technical skills call for a new journey in maintaining and developing excellent infrastructure services? Is your drive stronger than your neighbour’s and ready to grow your existing skillset?
Then you might be our new Infrastructure Responsible IT Engineer! Apply and join us on our exciting journey to develop world-class manufacturing IT in Novo Nordisk.
What you will be doing?
As our new colleague, you will play an important role of handling infrastructure activities in a GxP-regulated production environment. You will be part of our Infrastructure and IT Security Team, which is aiming to improve the efficiency and stability of our manufacturing-related processes for our colleagues. You will be a key person in these transformation activities and your work will directly impact business-critical systems and your colleagues at Novo Nordisk.
You can expect many different daily tasks, working with many different colleagues and customers. In your new position, you will be operating across several functional and managerial levels and will have an exciting opportunity to work with many stakeholders.
Your primary tasks will however include:
• Investigate and ensure our Infrastructure solutions (Servers, AD, Databases, LAN/VLAN, Backup/Restore) are designed, maintained, developed, and implemented so it fits production requirements.
• Ensure systematic periodic reviews e.g., user reviews conducted timely in accordance with relevant internal and external requirements.
• Drive Life Cycle Management including risk assessments to ensure the infrastructure services are up to date.
• Plan and execute upgrades including IT Security patching in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain and develop our server rooms so they fit current and future requirements.
• Cooperate with customers, and colleagues from other IT areas or vendors regarding aspects such as gap analysis, designing, configuration, system documentation, and validation of infrastructure services and processes.
• Participate in and/or review test execution to ensure the right quality level.
You will take independent decisions based on business requirements and business strategy. Many areas of the customer’s and the IT and Automation organisation must be taken into consideration in the decision-making since you will be influencing the performance of the production site and the quality level of the batch documentation.
Do you have what it takes?
We are always looking for the right person, not the right list of experience. If you think this position sounds like the perfect match for you, we would like to hear from you. We imagine that our next colleague can tick most of the following boxes to be successful in the role:
• A Bachelor's or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar.
• Relevant experience within IT and Automation, but you might also have another background with a strong personal drive.
• The ability to bridge your technical skills with local business requirements to identify and collect data for structured analysis and develop excellent standardised Infrastructure services.
• Proficiency in English, written and oral. Danish is an advantage as some interaction with end users is expected.
• An open mindset and a willingness to learn and apply new skills.
The team waiting to welcome you with open arms
You will join the Digital, Data & IT Product Supply in Biotech and Rare Disease (BRD) in Gentofte. We are more than 50 employees in the unit and you will be in a team with a great atmosphere and team spirit.
