Do you want to play a key role in helping us automate IT maintenance and solve system integration tasks in order to optimize our production systems, and digitalize processes and connect data to the cloud? Then you should apply for this position.
The team
You will be part of a team that secures daily IT and Automation support to four production facilities. At the same time, we deliver on several small to large projects to these facilities which all are placed in Gentofte. On the organizational level the team belongs to Manufacturing IT, but the team is placed close to production line in the Biotech and Rare Disease production area.
The team consists of 20+ competent, openminded and curious IT and Automation Technicians and Engineers.
The position
We are looking for an IT responsible colleague, to handle the day-to-day operations support and maintenance for IT systems in our production facilities.
Besides you will also run or participate in projects to implement up-to-date IT-solutions. Smaller changes are often implemented within the team, while larger projects are carried out in collaboration with various partners.

The position
We are looking for an IT responsible colleague, to handle the day-to-day operations support and maintenance for IT systems in our production facilities.
Besides you will also run or participate in projects to implement up-to-date IT-solutions. Smaller changes are often implemented within the team, while larger projects are carried out in collaboration with various partners.
Daily tasks:
- Supporting IT and automation equipment, which involves troubleshooting, systematic problem solving of our production facilities hardware and software.
- Perform periodic maintenance of production IT systems.
- Administrating our IT & computerized systems. Moreover, you will be solving several different documentation tasks in connection with the increased demands and focus on IT compliance, IT security and data integrity.
- Administrate user accounts, data base access, segregation of duties related to the OS level.
Projects:
- Participate in the growing number of projects within digitalization and integration of production data.
- Implement system monitoring in collaboration with Global IT Operations (SCOM).
- Automate maintenance tasks, e.g., PowerShell/SQL scripting.
- Play the role as an IT sparring partner when scoping a new project and therefore you need conceptual knowledge about firewalls, network communication, domain admin., hardware etc.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders:
- As we have outsourced some of the infrastructure maintenance and support to Global IT Operations you would have to work closely with this partner.
- Collaborate with Global IT Operations in order to find areas where we can benefit from centralised services, e.g. antivirus and backup.
- Work closely with centralized IT system manager in order to maintain general IT compliance.
Qualifications
Extended knowledge within the following areas would be preferred:
- Network/Firewall.
- Windows servers.
- SQL databases (database integration).
- Virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware).
- Active Directory / Domain administration.
- PowerShell scripting.
- Cloud-technologies e.g. AWS or Azure.
- Systematic problem solving.
General knowledge within the following areas would be an advantage:
- Hardware and server rooms.
- System/Service Monitoring e.g. SCOM.
- SCADA e.g. iFix.
- GxP (e.g. Good Manufacturing Practice)
Personal skills
- You are eager to listen and learn and ask a bunch of questions.
- You are self-aware – you know your strengths and pitfalls.
- You know you have to make mistakes to learn.
- You are a self-starter.
- You know you have to work with your team to get the best results.
