The position
As Quality Project Manager you will be overall responsible for setting the quality direction for a potential new production facility.

About the department
In Novo Nordisk, we drive our business to the benefit of patients. To bring innovative treatments to as many patients worldwide as possible, this department investigates potential expansion of our API manufacturing capacities to support the company portfolio of future oral and injectable pharmaceuticals.
We investigate how to establish new, ground-breaking biotech facilities based on modern technology with fully automated operations and digitalised processes. We are now hiring process specialists within the following technical disciplines: Fermentation, Recovery, Purification, Freeze- and Spray-drying, Facility and Utility and Automation/IT. We are also hiring experienced cross disciplinary profiles within industry 4.0 technologies, GMP & Quality and Health & Safety.

The position
As Quality Project Manager you will be overall responsible for setting the quality direction for a potential new production facility.
- You will participate in setting the direction on validation planning, design reviews and risk assessments, requirements for test, qualification and validation. A key design principle will be to copy existing design standards from another recent project.
- You must exercise strong leadership to keep the team focused on execution instead of comprehensive design considerations.
- You will be an essential part of building a competent user-organisation, integrate with engineering partners, and collaborate with contractors while supervising their activities.
- You manage any project risks proactively and develop standards to ensure structure and transparency.
- As part of your job, you will coordinate quality activities across the project and introduce newcomers to Novo Nordisk validation system including the quality strategy, plans for design, qualification and validation in the project.
- You will be part of preparing overall quality documents within the project
About you
To be considered for this position, you should:
- Have +6 years of experience within GMP and pharmaceutical (API) manufacturing.
- Have a master level education within pharmacy, chemistry, pharmaceutical process engineering or similar.
- Have experience on working with projects and validation within the pharmaceutical industry
- Have strong and impactful communication skills
- Have high quality mindset – being able to balance requirements against fast progress of project activities
- Have English proficiency (verbal and written).
