We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compliance Professional to lead our Patient Voice engagement efforts in the development area and across the value chain. The ideal candidate will have a strong compliance and regulatory affairs background and a deep understanding of patient and patient organisation engagement/inclusion into development activities and strategies. The Position This is a senior-level position that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional with a deep understanding of compliance and patient engagement in the pharmaceutical development industry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead our patient engagement compliance efforts, chair the cross-functional Patient Engagement Legal and Compliance Council and make a significant impact on our overall Patient Voice development strategy across the organisation. Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Develop and implement compliance strategies and SOPs for patient engagement in the Patient Voice cross-functional efforts in collaboration with the Research & Development Compliance Center of Expertise and the Business Ethics Compliance Office.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to patient and patient organisation engagement.
  • Chair the Patient Engagement Legal & Compliance Council across the value chain to ensure standardisation and alignment at a global level.
  • Responsible for internal system processes for patients and patient organisation booking, contracting and payment.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on compliance matters related to Patient Experience Data (PED) and patient insights
  • Incorporate internal compliance KPIs in patient engagement efforts.
    • Qualifications To excel in this role, we anticipate that you bring:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, healthcare, life sciences)
  • +10 years of experience in compliance and preferred experience with regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly focusing on patient engagement is preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing compliance strategies and business processes.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs on compliance and patient engagement.
  • A deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to patient engagement is a plus.
    • On a personal level, it is essential that you demonstrate collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you need to bring excellent communication and presentation skills, effectively conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner. Finally, effective project management skills, along with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously, are vital aspect for success in this position. About the Department You will be part of Global Medical Affairs (GMA) which is located in Søborg, Denmark. We are a small team of 12 people with the ambition to grow. We are responsible for leading and overseeing Novo Nordisk’s efforts to have Patient Voice at the centre of our operation and decision-making in the development of our treatment offerings. We provide strategic input to ensure that Novo Nordisk is providing high-quality, patient-centred care and continuously improving the patient experience for our end users.
