The position
Your responsibility will be to head up one of our production teams. It is the team’s responsibility to secure that our lines are operated as effectively as possible at all times. Furthermore, you have the responsibility for driving the development of the team, and ultimately our OEEs; including developing our people to be prepared for the digital future with new products and new lines.
You will be part of the production leadership team where you work closely with leadership colleagues from maintenance, planning, and support teams. Besides the daily management of the team and deliverables – from setting direction to driving performance and people development, you also define the long-term ambitions and road ahead together with the leadership team. A key success factor is also to build an even stronger LEAN culture in collaboration with our cLean® partner and the leadership team.
Qualifications
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree within a relevant field such as engineering, or you have a similar background based on experience. You have a strong people leadership track record and thrive in a dynamic environment, therefore, we expect that you have some years of leadership and managerial experience. GmP experience would be considered an advantage.
At a personal level, you understand how to ensure simple, effective systems and processes that work with people. You know from experience that leading from the heart is always giving the best engagement. You enjoy being ‘on the shop floor’ developing your people, speeding up improvements and innovation, encouraging curiosity, and coaching systematic problem solving, rather than being behind a desk and a computer screen.
About the department
Biopharm HGH Packaging, located in Kirke-Værløse, is the production facility where we assemble and package all our Human Growth Hormones on six automated assembly and packaging lines. In the near future, we are introducing several new products to the facility, which means we need to implement new processes and rebuild additional equipment. Our responsibility is to ensure the supply of the above products to all our markets worldwide.
We are around 100 people in our department, organized into 5 teams working with manufacturing, warehouse, technical services, and process support.
