The position
This role has four dimensions. First up is lead your people. That entails attract, retain and develop, talented people in their current position or potentially towards their next career move while continuously focusing on keeping the engagement high in the team. Your team will consist of up to 10 talented and dedicated procurement professionals and experts with multiple diversity facets that trough your leadership will be motivated to deliver great results
Together with your team you will have the responsibility to ensure that the investment projects progress and complete as successfully as possible. One effective way to this is to ensure critical deliveries of qualified resources, components and technical equipment despite geopolitical situations and supply chain disruptions. Another is by being at eyelevel with internal stakeholders, customers, and collaboratively work towards the genuine business objectives.
Thirdly, you are accountable for your supplier base always appear as well-oiled as possible by developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with key decisionmakers. You also spur true innovation and create mutual transparency about pipelines, capacities and lead times to jointly improve timelines within our investment projects. A fully optimised contractual foundation and always updated IT systems enabling swiftly transactions are elements you knowledgeably deliver.
You will become an important part of the IES management team where you are expected to significantly contribute with the continued development of the function. You will contribute with longer term strategic perspectives and with hands-on pragmatic solutions to near term problems. With this in focus you will enable us to drive the business while changing the business in a team oriented and accommodating atmosphere.
Qualifications
You hold a MSc. or equivalent in business, economics, engineering, IT or similar. It is advantageous if you have experience within investment projects execution, engineering, procurement and/or LEAN practices. In addition, we´d like to see that:

IES is part of the Product Supply organisation. Product Supply is a modern technology organisation that proactively drives the purpose of Novo Nordisk and delivers the highest quality to patients in a sustainable and efficient way.
In IES, we play a key role in ensuring that there is sufficient capacity to treat our patients worldwide. We are doing so by supporting our global investment projects in engineering and with procurement activities.
As function we sit in the sweet spot between our global supplier base and our colleagues in the investment projects who are considered our customers.
Due to the large growth in the overall company, we have also a significant increase in investment spend and related projects that we are supporting. This situation gives a fantastic opportunity to strengthen even more the contributions we are delivering as well as driving change through the investment projects in line with the company aspirations.
Today we are around 35 ambitious employees with diverse backgrounds and an engaged people-focused culture.
