Are you passionate about supply chain management and do you want to combine strong business understanding with an analytical mind-set to drive process management and improvements to the end-to-end supply chain? This position is a maternity cover. The Position As a S&OP Process Manager you will be involved in defining process management requirements, standardisation, and governance around one/more of the core elements in the S&OP Process. This could either be within supply, demand, inventory or risk- and financial process management. Through either smaller and bigger improvement initiatives. As success does not come single-handedly, the ambition is through close collaboration with our S&OP Business Partners and E2E Planners to develop clear processes. Furthermore, as the department interacts with a wide range of stakeholders, you can expect to drive the process- and expectations alignment across the supply chain as well as being able to communicate business- and process need to develop solutions in close collaboration with our developers in the Business Intelligence team. Furthermore, you will drive the review and monitoring of adherence to defined standards, thereby identifying and executing on process improvement initiatives and projects. You can expect to be driving the development of recommendation through close collaboration with S&OP Business Partner and E2E Planners and present to management for endorsement and anchoring, as well as driving insights and intelligence across functions and business areas to senior management when needed. Qualifications You have a master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar that is supplemented with:
  • Minimum of 4+ years relevant work experience from an industry leading company or a top consultancy
  • Solid business understanding combined with hands-on experience from problem solving, ideally from Supply Chain or Operations
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with an innovative approach to problem solving and outside-the-box thinking. Yet you have a sharp eye for details, a strong analytical mind and appreciate a firm and consistent structure. You are known for your strong drive, ability to create results and you have an international mind-set. You have excellent collaboration skills, and you communicate clearly and concisely. You can adapt your approach quickly depending on the situation as you will work and communicate with people from across the organisation from planners to senior management. Finally, you are fluent in English. About the Department The department is part of the Supply Chain Mid-term Planning anchored in the central Supply Chain unit. We are responsible for launches of new products and tactical/strategic S&OP, where we ensure supply chain resilience & network optimisation for Novo Nordisk. We are a diverse group of around 50 colleagues from more than 1different nationalities with various educational backgrounds. We are on an exciting journey to take the global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to the next level. You will be part of a team the called S&OP Process Excellence responsible for orchestration of the process as well as driving process improvements and standardisation of the core elements going into our tactical planning processes.
