The Position
This position is a great opportunity to become deeply knowledgeable about Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) purification processes and automation systems throughout a complex value chain.
You will together with the project process group:
Your workplace will be Kalundborg. However, in the short term you will be working from Virum on Tuesdays and in the long term, your workplace will be Kalundborg only.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you have:
You take natural ownership and complete your work within the given timeframe, and you are always structured and systematic in your work. Your natural curiosity will be crucial to your success, as well as your skills in coordinating and collaborating efficiently throughout the organisation. Successful candidates will demonstrate an eagerness to learn and work through challenges by proposing well thought out solutions. You will also have the ability to stay focused on the goal while displaying agility and flexibility in an evolving project environment.
About the Department
We are in the process of designing and building the world’s a state-of-art large scale manufacturing facility for purification of innovative pharmaceutical proteins for treating patients with serious chronic deceases. The facility will be constructed at our site in Kalundborg and the plant design will apply new data and robot technology for next level manufacturing.
Currently, we are around 50 engaged and motivated employees but within the next few years we will expand and onboard approximately 100 more.

The Position
This position is a great opportunity to become deeply knowledgeable about Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) purification processes and automation systems throughout a complex value chain.
You will together with the project process group:
- Have responsibilities within the Cleaning in Place (CIP) or Spray dryer work package ensuring we have the correct design, taking the design through all project phases all the way through final qualification and ramp up.
- You will also assist in identifying optimisation potentials and implementing them in an advanced and automated manufacturing setup.
Your workplace will be Kalundborg. However, in the short term you will be working from Virum on Tuesdays and in the long term, your workplace will be Kalundborg only.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you have:
- A master's or bachelor's degree within life-science probably in Engineering, Chemistry or similar.
- +3 years relevant experience with pharmaceutical or food manufacturing, is an advantage, especially within CIP or Spray dryer. However, your motivation and ability to learn is key and the position and responsibility areas will be adapted to your level of skills and experience.
- You have strong communication skills both in spoken and written English.
