Can you manage the operation of Novo Nordisk A/S' Food Services contracts? Then you might be the new Service Contract Manager in our Facility Service team. Based in Bagsværd, we manage the contract with our external supplier of catering services for our 10,000 daily guests spread over more than 30 canteens in Denmark.

The position

We are looking for an experienced Service Contract Manager who will be responsible for managing our food service contract in cooperation with experienced colleagues. We have canteens across all Danish sites serving lunch and in some cases dinner. The canteens also prepare catering for meetings and events. In some of the larger canteens we also run cafés. The canteens are all managed by an experienced external vendor and the Service Contract Manager is responsible for the services being delivered according to the contract specifications, continuous development, follow-up on interaction with local stakeholders, the quality and financial status of the service.

Your key areas of responsibility will be within:

  • Service Quality: Establish and maintain service specifications, handling of user feedback, evaluate performance metrics and implement best value practices.
  • Communication: Manage stakeholder perceptions and expectations, select situation-appropriate media and techniques for communications with stakeholders, facilitate and participate in meetings with suppliers
  • Operations: monitor the performance of service providers, mitigate contract disputes and escalate when necessary.
  • Finance and business: manage and oversee budget requirements, prepare business cases, supporting documentation and financial reports to support continuous development of services.
  • Technology: Monitor and evaluate technology trends and innovation
  • Environmental stewardship: support and develop sustainability within services

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Professional insight within food services
  • A sound academic background which could be within management, finance or procurement
  • Relevant experience within contract and financial management
  • Flair for written presentations and decision-making proposals, as well as verbally being able to present them
  • Strong communication skills in Danish and English, both orally and in writing
  • Regardless of background, you must be outgoing and independent, as you will have a wide range of contacts and a large area of responsibility. At the same time, you must be a good team player, as we work closely together in our department. It is also important that you have an eye for both the overall lines and the small details, as you must guarantee that our solutions are long-lasting.

About the department

We are around 230 employees in Corporate Facilities (CFa) based in Bagsværd, Hillerød, Måløv and Kalundborg, managing ~2500 external employees. We drive strategic facility management in Denmark and are responsible for safeguarding, sustaining and continuously optimising Novo Nordisk property and delivering services to our more than 20.000 Danish colleagues.

The specific department Facility Services is located in Bagsværd and consists of 12 employees which are responsible for managing and following up on our contracts within soft FM services as food services, cleaning, distribution of post & packages as well as a number of supporting services.
