The position
This position is a maternity cover, which will last 24 months.

As Project Manager your focus will be to secure realisation of our process digitalisation, drive optimisation and development projects within logistics and distribution. You will also be working on supporting the implementation of new warehouses based on our warehouse expansion strategy and principles.

Your main responsibilities will be to:
• drive the onboarding of external partners in close collaboration with the central team and the local business areas
• manage implementation and optimisation projects within warehousing
• analyse and optimise our existing distribution routes in Denmark
• oversee external partners as well as stakeholders across functions at different levels in Novo Nordisk

Qualifications
In order for us to succeed, the following qualifications are required:

• a master’s degree e.g., in Supply Chain, Logistics or Engineering
• 3+ years of experience with project management with the ability to communicate clearly, drive/move things forward and align expectations
• a natural flair for business process optimisation, standardisation, and IT systems
• experience working with upstream supply chain processes such as planning, purchasing and warehouse processes and ambitions to gain insights within these
• experience in agile methodologies is preferred

We expect you to be fluent in English.

You are known for your high motivation, engagement, and strong analytical skills. Finally, you have excellent cross-cultural collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.

About the department
Logistics & Distribution (L&D) is overall responsible for the global distribution of Novo Nordisk products between production sites and to our affiliates and regional offices across the globe, focusing on delivering a high service while balancing environmental footprint with financial impact. Furthermore, we are responsible for the storage of GDP products, including inbound and outbound distribution. We are a department of about 45 employees, divided in Shipping Operations, Transport Control & Validation and Warehouse Center of Excellence (CoE). This position is within Warehouse CoE team.
