Do you want to assist a dedicated team within Clinical Drug Development? Then you could be the new Department Assistant in Clinical Operations Diabetes.

The position

As Department Assistant you will support across Clinical Operations and be part of an administrative team. You will be working with highly engaged colleagues and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on several levels.

You will formally report to the manager of one of the six departments in Clinical Operations and support managers and teams in two departments. Your job will consist of a broad spectrum of administrative tasks.

The key tasks include providing general administrative support to managers and teams, coordination of meetings and seminars, preparation of agendas and minutes, travel arrangements, settling of travel expenses, purchasing and contract handling.

Furthermore, you will be supporting Line of Business budgets, administer and maintain department websites, and prepare graphical presentations. The job is based in Søborg.

Qualifications

You are a positive team player, flexible, resourceful, organised and efficient, with a high level of integrity as well as loyal and service-minded. You have a flair for numbers and experience with the planning and controlling of budgets. You are IT savvy and work in a structured manner with a sense for the details. You proactively take action and ownership for tasks and welcome new responsibilities. You have the ability and willingness to adjust quickly to new situations in a continuously developing environment. You master good communication skills and are proficient in both written and spoken English.

About the department

Clinical Operations activities are anchored in the Development organisation under Clinical Drug Development and play a vital part in our ambitious drug development programme. We plan and execute clinical trials to produce the high-quality data and scientific documentation required by health authorities to turn our promising pipeline of exciting new medicines into marketable products. Clinical Operations Diabetes comprises six departments with a total of app. 95 people. Taking on this central role is a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth in a global company.
