The Ocean Delivery Transformation & Digitalization team is responsible for the transformation of Maersk's Ocean Service Delivery and the Functional Product Owners drive the global adoption of the transformation. Our vision is to radically improve the quality-of-service delivery to our customers, and we are looking for dynamic talents to join the journey.
We are looking for a strong talent who is keen on supporting one or multiple L3 processes in the Service Delivery (SD) process landscape. It’s an excellent opportunity to think customer first and work on the right processes, policies, data, and tools to improve the customer outcomes.
As we embark on this journey, the role will offer you great opportunities for professional development. Along with a great group of FPO’s and FPM’s this role will play a crucial role in transforming, standardizing, and automating the Service Delivery landscape to arrive at a greatly improved service delivery for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
The Functional Product Manager is supporting Functional Product Owners with implementing the Service Delivery Vision, Business Process and Product design, User Experiences, Customer Journey Experiences and defining Platform Requirements for one or multiple L3 processes in the Service Delivery (SD) process landscape.
You will also play the role of change agent to deploy your design to the global organisation.
To ensure you deliver on this you will need to:
- Co-create and support the vision with a team of FPO’s for your functional product scope which is crystalized into strong fact-based change proposals
- Together with a FPO be joint accountable for key outcomes of the L3 processes in your scope through process (re-) design, policy changes and automation of process steps which is implemented throughout the business
- Continuously track performance basis well defined metrics and improve on key outcomes
- Serve as the primary liaison for our frontline colleagues in the OCL or HQ to collect feedback and insights that can be translated into opportunities supporting L3 process outcomes
- Think End-to-End by maintaining an overall user journey and customer journey for our processes
- Enable and facilitate operationalisation of key initiatives with Platform Product Owners in ensuring User Stories are delivering the intended user, product, and business features
- Come up with Business Policy Changes that enable a high degree of standardization within the process landscape
What we look for
- You are highly ambitious with a desire to contribute to our vision and transform the Service Delivery process landscape to drive better customer outcomes
- You have high energy, and you want to make a success of your own scope and are passionate about creating great processes and products for operations teams (OCLs) and other Service Delivery stakeholders
- You are a someone with a strong people focus and excel in creating clarity in ambiguous situations
- You are someone who can use your analytical and logical mindset to both solve exceptionally complex problems and drive decision making by using qualitative and quantitative insights to achieve the targets
- Comfortable addressing ambiguity, for example, shifting priorities or unfamiliar problems
- You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability whilst leading by example with a roll-up your sleeves mentality
- You can work with stakeholders across the globe and ensure their buy-in when driving new ideas
- You are creative, inventive, and have a E2E process mindset.
- You understand that excellent processes together with new technologies are key to delivering on the integrator strategy and you want to help drive Maersk towards becoming a product and process driven organisation
