Head of Enterprise Architecture to Nuuday – Copenhagen


An exciting opportunity to join a technology driven organization that takes the lead, when it comes to developing services to make life a little easier, and where Nuuday delivers market-leading connectivity products and digital services to most Danish homes and businesses.

As Head of Enterprise Architecture (EA), you will orchestrate Architectural Governance practices and a full overview of and strategy for internal platforms and systems. Also, you will, externally, have a key role in setting the direction for interfaces to customer systems and thereby ensuring that they can set up own platforms.

The role will report to the CTO office, part of the Technology organization. CTO Office comprise of IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, and Solution & Technical Architecture. Technology is the backbone that will enable all Nuuday brands to deliver great customer experiences, become truly digital and compete hard with a fast time to market.

The role will be working out of Copenhagen, and applicants from Europe, who are willing to relocate, are welcome to apply.

Your Job

Together with an experienced team of 5 Enterprise Architects, the Head of EA will orchestrate the transformation of the IT stack across all busines areas. Besides building modern scalable solutions, the Head of EA will oversee a migration of the IT platform and communicate the need for moving towards standard solutions rather than increasing complexity by bespoke solutions.

The key responsibilities will center on setting a direction for and overseeing Architecture, Architectural Governance, Processes, Tools, Blueprints, and providing Leadership. In this, some of the tasks will be to:

  • drive architecture process tools to ensure clear target state definitions

by being the chairperson of Technology Design Authority Board

  • ensure architectural decisions are made on time with no delay in projects
  • drive architecture analysis and recommendation for executive decision

  • design future state architectures with reasonable depth, innovation, and pragmatism
  • manage roadmap based on ongoing discoveries and evolving business decisions
  • responsible for the design and maintenance of target enterprise architecture blueprint and roadmap
  • ensure coordination across all transformation programs
  • lead, motivate and develop the team

Key to success is to ensure a high level of stakeholder management towards all brands, with a high level of communication of prioritizations and deliveries – and to drive a transformation, managing many and various interests, and encourage for standardization.

Your Personality

We believe that the right personality match is represented by a curious Head of EA, who is committed to new technologies and IT strategy, combined with a distinct ability to create structures, identify patterns, and define frameworks. In your work, you, as Head of EA, demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills in terms of engaging with, creating dialogue with and being able to translate (and challenge) business needs into specific solutions. You are not required to lead in depth, but rather lead as a role model, and where you can create dialogue and collaboration between your team members. Also, you demonstrate a strong business acumen and mindset and can drive Transformation and Change.

Your Experience

To succeed, you have extensive IT experience, and with some of these years from Telco and with knowledge of Best Practices in Telco, and where you have for example., experience from designing complex transformation project. Your experience also includes:

  • Experience from leading a team (of experienced Enterprise Architects)
  • Mastery of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and architecture patterns
  • Ability to drive and coordinate process, data, and technology discussions
  • Experience from working on transformation projects that span multiple organizations and business units
  • Certification in Open Group and TMForum frameworks
  • Experience in using EA tools and governing artifacts
  • Academic credentials on bachelor or master level from university
  • Fluent in English, in writing and orally
